Ubisoft, I am not playing for weeks now

only because of absence of vanity loot and the feeling this is not a bug. It started with apparel quest update.

I play Borderlands games with my 8yr old boy and I smile every time he delays at the quick change station or when he chooses the side missions that have cosmetic rewards. But I have never understood this for adult males caring about this much less caring enough to protest to the devs. I played Destiny 1 hard core for 3 three years and never once cared about how my character looked. I deleted most cosmetics right away actually. I guess I just don't see cosmetics as adding one iota of better gameplay or fun to the game.

Ah yes, hadn't thought about that, I suppose we are seeing our characters more in this game. But it honestly makes no difference to me, if the game is fun I'll play and keep playing. Changing the cosmetic look of my character doesn't make me play any more or less.

ive been farming everyday and havent upgraded a single piece in 2 weeks ; you're not missing anything, just come back when the raid arrives
it's been a total waste of time for a couple weeks ; cant wait for content drop.

it might even be better, that way you're not burning yourself grinding for nothing

Yeah, I left DC for Bolivia. But not because of cosmetics, there are other reasons to set it aside for a while. I am looking forward to new content, but there doesn't seem to be much reason to grind in it now. I'll admit I like to scan thru the cosmetics, in both Division and Wildlands, or any game that has that feature. I personally don't go for the uniform things, but I do like to have a "look". IRL I'm a scruffy old guy, I like to look like a scruffy old guy in games if I can. Fantasy, escapism, whatever, it's part of the entertainment in a game to me. [I think about the time I spent decorating my homes in Skyrim and then at the end of a hard day skewering things I'd relax with a book by the fire.] I guess I never realized it but it probably has a little to do with being third person. Destiny I could have cared less I didn't see myself much.

very similar to me.. ofcourse I dont play for cosmetics, its like graphical spice.. GRW is like hollyday of freedom from bit claustrophobic mission grind of Di2.. In GRW I can customize whole AI squad and test AI, is very funny for me.. AND I LIKE CAMO and NWG and thermo and tactical positioning of attacks))
