    Attack Speeds / heavies vs assassins

    I strongly believe that assassins need to be faster than double handed weapon users and heavier classes. How does it make sense that a raider with a 2 hander can attack as fast as an orochi or a PK with daggers? 2 hander as fast as daggers..? come on. what makes an assassin an assassin at this point other than the nerfed stance? I always though the assassins would be faster strikers and thats what made them assassins. You might say the assassins have dodge attacks but at this point for example raider who has better dodge options anyway. Assassins should have lower damage per hit but quicker attacks. Now you have vanguards and heavies with the same attack speeds doing damage as a 2 hander would, so you get the speed and bigger damage. In point here, whats the use of an assassin in this game now? Shouldn't heavy 2 handers that do more damage be slower and a bit more risky to use? The logic here is kinda broken. Plus assassins have lower health pools also. Vanguard raider 2 handed assassins now.. face palm.. even if the attack speed was 400 for assassins and 450-475 for heavies would be better.

    Id like to hear some thoughts on this and why I might be wrong in my thinking.

    i could totally understand the big weapons going the same speed if the game were a cartoony or Mortal Kombat style, but in this game it feels way wrong. this game is cool because it has more of a medieval realistic feel and the attack speeds of 2 handed weapons should not be as fast as light weapons or assassins.

    Yeah devs are killing both logic and assassins here...

    But hey it's their game so i guess tjey assume they can do whatever the F they want !....

    Man, if u are talking realism then Lawbringer will be slow but he will just grab any of your assassins and break their neck and their shiny swords and daggers will do nothing even if they will have 200 ms speed :P To make for example OROCHI viable against Warden, Lawbringer or Conqueror we have to make an exception cause he would have no chance at all, even 100 ms speed. From the second hand, Shugo will do max 10 swings with his weapon and then lose Stamina for couple mins, so it is stupid too. But realism is not "priority" in this game. U have to understand that there are HUGE "approximations" (sorry cannot find a word in English), and logic is put away to have fun. And by assassins u mean who? PK ? She is trash now, in a trashcan where she belongs since her release. I remember her being the worst cancer in the game so i don't feel pity for her. But don't tell me Berserker is slow :P His combo lights (with HA) are like 300 ms? I don't know exactly but delayed ones are fast. Same with Orochi - delayed ones are way faster than 500 ms. U wanna have 400 ms hits from neutral so everyone (i mean every average rat playing this game) can pick assassin, and without even knowing combo he will lightspam enemy by just clicking and win. This is unacceptable for me.

    The devs dont know how to make slow heroes viable offensivly thats why they speed up raider and lawbringer instead of giving them new Abilities. Its a Shame really, all reworks Will be faster attacks or new bashes.

    Man, medieval realistic feel ends in this game when we read a description and we know that there are Knights in the game. U turn on the game and there is no realism except gravity (which we know is also not realistic). There are only an attepmts and approximations we have to do, to make this game able to play. If u wanna realism then throw away the samurai at the very beginning, vikings too, cause nobody have chances when comes to cut steel plates which allmost all knights have. Faction War won - Knights thank u goodnight. Every duel won by Knight hero, thank u goodnight.

    Of course it doesn't make sense, that heavy Heroes are this fast, but the uncreative devs, don't find/want other ways of making slow attacks viable beside making them faster.

    It is also nonsense that heavy weapons like those of Lawbringer/Raider/Goki/Sakura can get parried without any problem. If some slow things simply wouldn't be able to get parried, we could make them slow.

    It will work properly only if every heavy hero have hyper armor on every heavy attack, so assassins can't light spam to death.

    There is just no way to be "creative" here. In a realism sense ofc. Like, when Shugoki do a top heavy with his weapon he will be able to lift this only once more, but there will be no armor or toothpick katana which will parry this hit. I just don't understand why people using "realism" argument when nothing is realistic in For Honor and it is pure imagination.
