Like many, I thought the lightsabers from the May 4th event was cool. Making weapons effects, with the appropriate toggle options, a permanent feature would be even cooler. As others before me suggested, making each weapon effect purchasable for 5000 steel sounds reasonable. Here are some brainstorms for weapon effects:
- Lightsaber (of course)
- Flame
- Electric
- Glow
- Ice
- Holy/angelic light
- The luminous effect from Apollyon emote
- Radiance
- Other effects from Mythic outfits, Illustrious outfits, and standard effects.
It would also be good if we could pick colours for them as we do for our outfits. I also feel the same way for the current effects.
What are other people's take on this and what are your brainstorms?
I was going to make a thread like this for a weapon effect category. I feel idle weapon effects would be great. So many cool options
-dripping gold
-lucky strike
-living shadow
-blood soaked
-Spartan glow
-Haunting purple glow
-Poison drip
-living flame
-holy reflection
I'm just picturing heroes standing there with idle weapon effects instead of idle effects centred around the entire hero
I thought the event effects were really cool and well done. It was a very nice surprise and a blast to play with aramusha on that day as it not only made him look incredible but also would let him perform better on a regular basis. Which is also why I would be concerned about having effects like that constantly in the game. They are distracting and covering out visual and audible cues in fights.
I like them sth like that as a sort of event in game but not constantly. Especially when you only have the option to entirely turn off the opponents effects and not specific ones (I usually want to see what effects they combine with their executions as well as idle emotes and free roam)
A lightning or flaming sword? For my whity knighty boii Vortrigger ? I BUY IT FOR 15000 STEEL !Originally Posted by Soldier_of_Dawn Go to original post
Shut up before they really make it 15000, I wouldn’t be surprised if it was 10000000, greedy a wholes Ubisoft is.Originally Posted by MessirePhilippe Go to original post
