My suggestion to improve the game

Allow us to fix and rebuild the castle as our agent's main base. To help a A Caravan of Refugees (Survivors, Escape Slaves, Deserters from factions, etc.) enter DC seeking shelter and you task to help them settle in the Castle.

Need combat scenes and dialogue in Black Tusk Invasion and/or a mission to cut through them get to the white house

More Echos (for missions, background lore, investigations) and story line

More Investigation zones and hazard zones like DV1 with Echo instead of phone calls

Add story or side quest to activate the Snitch cards, collection of paints/relics, etc.

Also allow us to personalize safe houses. I like to see the safe zone be staffed with NPCs and wounded and allies taken a break.

Increase the Visual Upgrades of settlements, NPC, etc. (Safe House, Trash gets clean up, See the effects of the projects, etc.)

Add a Radio Broadcast upgrade to the White House for White House news aka propaganda

Add a Archive/Library upgrade to the White House

Farm/Garden/Animal Pen Upgrade for White House

    Dog Kennel Settlement Upgrade

    School Upgrade for Theater

    Medical Upgrade for Theater

    Library Upgrade for Theater

Ability to enter archive section of Theater to see the picture and artifact collected

Auto Defense for Campus and white house

Keep the rug in full upgrade in White House

More Random Events and Easter eggs

Give NPC some purpose so, visual won’t see as lifeless

Give npc's some survivor story to explore.

Make it feel more like the npc's were trying to get your help or on your good side they would feel more real.

One thing I saw and liked was the game console that you find after a mission and you see kids playing it after you return to the safe house later.

Any attempt to really interact with the agent outside of main story would be welcome.
Random "pointless" story encounters like mentioned above by others.

What about getting "intel" from the locals? For instance they could tell you "I heard Jolly Bob was two blocks to the east with a team of thugs, someone needs to take them out!". It could be a random event that you won't find out about unless you talk to the local.

Need more diversity dialogue in the radio DJ

Need more diversity dialogue from NPCs

Make Campus message about been full more friendly or sympathize

Make the Helicopter for the enemy for Hi tech looking

Show what the current time is in-game

Get rewarded for responding and helping players

    Flashlight or Night vision.

Increase the time the Division allied Control Points are take over and blockades to happen

Achievements tracking in the world and on missions

Add masks from factions other then Hunters

Increase Detection duration from 10 minutes to 30 minutes and make the food, water, and components nodes permanently more visible when ready to harvest

Lower pulse cool down and make it have longer reach

Have Pulse scan to show lootable objects

Combat roll vs Cover: Too often iI find myself going in and out of cover when im trying to perform a combat roll.

Revive vs Reload: Too often I find myself reloading my weapon instead of reviving my team mate.

Zoom Scopes: So do not have to rezoom at fire a shot

Tailoring bench when you could just transfer appearance of one gear piece to another, just appearance no stats effected just purely for cosmetic purposes Donating parts of a loadout to Projects should include a warning.

Make a bench in every Control Point were we can donate the supplies so we don't have to look and wait for the Control Point Officer to accept the items. Also, donate other items like guns and gear

Return some DV1 activities and side missions

Procurement (for future vanity settlements upgrade):

    UV Filters
    Medicine
    Lab Data
    Security Cameras
    Supplies

Missing Person (could make a weekly event)

More collectibles or Intel - (Survival Guidebook, Phone Recordings, Incident Reports, Crashed Drones, Missing Agents, random evidences of crimes)

Up link repair (to show the collectibles)

    More Encounters:

Water Supply i - A Encounter mission where the player will have to enter the sewers and attack a group of Enemies, who have resorted to turning off the area's water supply

Virus Research - A Encounter requires the player to enter a contaminated area, so appropriate virus protection is mandatory. The mission is timed, with the timer starting when the first scanner is activated. It can help to scout the area to identify the other scanners (usually 2 or 3) before activating the first one, as this may help the player avoid wasting time searching.

After all of the virus scanners are activated, the player must find the laptop to transmit the virus data back to base. Again this section is timed (starting from when all the virus scanners are activated).

Arms Deal Disruption - encounter where the Enemies are selling weapons they have found or looted from the corpses of their enemies.

Investigation - Did the people commit suicide, died from health, environmental , or unnatural death. If unnatural bring some to justice. (Get bounty Intel)

    yeah!
this man is obviously a person of culture!!!
    ..
dont get me wrong, i believe thedivison2 is probably the very best "sequel" ive ever seen in gaming history, yeah also HL² or SystemShock2 or whatever "classic" one might think of...
its really great how the giant map is actually utilised infinitely and always offers some new spots ive never seen before...
...but in terms of "deepness" it cant even hold value of many early-acces-projects^^
story, background-lore, collectibles, aparell-count, skills and perks, openworld activties, virus? what virus? actually its a really great game, which also is extremly empty when one seriously wants to dive into the gameworld and characters^^
    ...
well, normalisation^^ lol feels like pokemon-trading-cards being used in DnD, or michael jordan at the special olympics... its just wrong this seriously needs an opt-out, or better, an OPT_IN switch... otherways i believe there wont be muchc patience left when we got bored of the raid too^^

You missed the obvious though, the option to move the hud from the centre of the screen, it really gets in the way when you are attempting to deploy skills or grenades at longer ranges. And the other thing to add is the ability to look up and down when deploying skills, so that you can see where they will land.

    Good idea from

I personally find the biggest issue with the game is the content in between the missions. There are plenty of collectibles, weapons and armor caches to be found in the open world, but like many others I have nearly stopped opening a majority of the bags I find in the open world because of three reasons.

    1. I have maxed crafting materials.

2.I don't want to craft so I don't need materials.

    3. I have already acquired all of the lootable clothing.

Issues 1 and 2 are an entirely other conversation and not the point of this post, so that leaves us with reason number three.

    The lack of lootable clothing.

One of the biggest discussions I've seen in regards to the clothing is how the original Division had more clothing in than game than it's sequel. That is a fact.

In The Division 2 you can acquire a total of 11 hats, 9 glasses, 9 necks, 16 shirts, 16 pants, 11 shoes. ( Again this is gray rarity, lootable clothing)

In The Division 1 you can acquire a total of 73 hats, 0 glasses, 63 necks, 135 Jackets, 44 shirts, 40 pants, 56 shoes. ( All available from the original release)

Link to Division 1 Clothing list: http://thedivisionguides.com/list-clothing-items/

How were the numbers vastly higher in the Division 1 compared to Division 2? Pallet Swaps.

This isn't a post comparing the quality of the clothing with the two games, it's about quantity.

The reason this is made apparent other than just simple math is how the clothing in Division 2 are named. As an example, one of the shirts in Division 2 is named
"Button down - Black worn". If you asked me what I'd would assume after hearing about that item, I'd say that this was the Black version of the Button down and that there are going to be other Button down shirts in other colors. This is incorrect.
Another example would be the "Beret - Maroon" there aren't any other Berets in the game. (not including the clan beret as it's not the same item)

What would I do if I was given the reigns? Depends on when I was asked.

Before I released the game: I wouldn't name the item with the color unless there were multiple colors options.

After I released the game but didn't want to put in much effort: I'd change the name of the items so they didn't include the color unless there were multiple colors.

After I released the game but want to increase the content in the game: I'd have at the very least 5-10 variations of every item model with simple color swaps on the UV Map.
(Blue, Red,Green, White, Black, Brown, Yellow, Orange,Purple, Brown)

Granted it's possible they may release more common clothes in the game over time, but the fact that the only new clothes added so far have artificial rarities which allows the Developers the ability to lock them behind event loot boxes and I get the feeling that this will be the only way new clothes are injected into the game from this point forward.

    Bonus Issues:

Why aren't there the exact same amount of Gear Camo as there are Weapon Camo?

Why can't we have cosmetic overrides for Gear? If we can have outfits that "hide" gear pieces then there's no reason we can't use the appearance of some gear pieces projected over what we have equipped.

Return the carpet, he set the tone for the whole room! (Hello, Lebowski)

If there was an opportunity to choose carpets ... As part of the player’s visual sets, a visit to someone’s world would be more interesting. Yes, and the community would offer many different options for carpets.

    Make the radio more understandable

More News reports about side missions, main missions, just random news

    Add Hoodies to appeal

Also finally fix historic district attack so that if you did it and finished it even says so on list of sidemissions YOU ALSO GET THE REWARD (nr 4)from the campus. Now i dont get to finish stage 4 and so no bonus. Many people ingame have the same problem. And the raid sucks because it is only for a few players and the recalibration station is not user friendly either.Love this game but this is just frustrating and getting something as cool as RAID and then not getting to try and play it easy sucks.Just make it certain lvl players then easy enter.
