Overall GS 511 if you lose a weapon?

I was messing around with my build last night, crafting, calibrating etc. I couldn't help but notice after I calibrated a weapon (then losing the one you took from) prior to filling that secondary weapon slot, my GS went UP from 510 to 511?

Note: My GS has been 510 for 5-6 weeks, it has never went beyond 510.

As far as I am aware there is nothing to reclaibrate on a weapon to change your GS. Could the weapons you equipped just be a higher GS, or one of your other pieces changed?

EDIT: Sorry misread the post. Yeah as Joonnnyy says GS is the average of your gear. Since a weapon can be a max of 500, items above that will have more weight in determining your GS.

gs for your character is total average of all your items, so if you loose one itme that is below this average the new average is higher since non used slots are ignored

Ah. Thank you. It was pretty late and I thought this was a fluke.
