Sorting the mods, hasn't worked for me either.
But I'm managing the 100 mod slots quite easily. This is what I do:
1) I keep the highest gear score / bonus of every skill mods. No duplicates. If one gives 25% cooldown reduction and another gives 27% cooldown reduction, I delete / deconstruct the 25% one. Altogether, I think they total around 50 to 70 mods.
2) Since you have 6 gear pieces, that means you can't have more than 6 offensive protocol, system slot or whatever for defensive, utility. I personally don't care for defensive protocol / system. I only care about offensive / utility protocol / system mods. So I keep maximum of 6 offensive protcoo, 6 offensive system, 6 utility protocol, 6 utility system. The highest rolls. I pick up mods all the time and deconstruct very often.
When I've sorted through all my mods, skills and gear mods, I total around 80/100 or something.
Yeah, it's a bit of a pain in the butt to be honest. I'd like the Stash mods to be displayed in the same way as in my inventory; that alone would make things much easier. If you run multiple loadouts with different combinations of gear it get's a bit messy and you have to be very careful. I've just accidentally deleted a turret cooldown mod because it gets so messy. Not particularly happy about that as those mods a rare to begin with.
Yep, Stash GUI needs some work.
yes the Mods stash is absolutly terrible, the sorting system is totally useless!
why on earth you can't sort the mods stash same way as its in your inventory?
turret mod to turret mod, drone mod to drone mod etc
when i see all these problems, than i know this game should have released a half year later, even i think they won't fix these problems in a half year
i would also like to see a change about picking up items (gear, weapons, mods) from the ground, in a less 'long'-clicking thingie, please make it so, like picking up crafting materials out of their crates/boxes. it does take to long ...
