What was the overall impact of this Daily Project on your play session? Both before and after you saw it?
While I do like the train of thought here, don't you think its really the wrong time (in the current state of unbalanced PVP) to encourage pvp? Just trying determine if you guys consider those types of things before you implement them. I know you want to spur some interest in the dark zone, but I just feel like its frustrating to people as it sits right now.Not only that, but as someone has already pointed this out, 1-2% of the population has nemesis and people in the DZ are encountering some of those people and its leaving them with yet another layer of frustration.

I think the point you are missing is that these components arent linked. They didnt decide to activate/create a project while factoring random considerations of how gearing is going or how exotic farming is impacting players, or state of pvp. The projects were designed under core overall concepts to consistently carry on throughout the game/new content. One thing I find surprising between the OPs comments and your own is this assumption that the devs are somehow trying to work schemes or intentionally piss you off. They are designing content with the intention of players enjoying it, may not be you particularly that enjoys it, but someone will. Think about the content or decision as a whole and stop being so narrowminded about only your opinion/selected frustration. Heck, there was someone posting a thread on here recently claiming the game sucks because they couldnt play a sawed off shotgun build and dominate the PVE...The game is not out to get you, stop the entitlement and understand that just because you dont like X doesnt mean anyone gives a ****.

Did you know that if your team / squad members kill Black Tusk in Dark Zone Occupied West, it counts towards the 50 kills? You don't have to kill.

Normally I would agree with this, however, with Massive, and living thru D1 I know full well they try to "encourage" (I use this term better than others) DZ play. The saying carrot leading the horse comes to mind. I firmly believe theres space for both pvp and pve. Things do look grim now but remember its Massive. They take a while to do things, thier intent is right, but the execution at times leaves alot to be desired. Prime example 515 gear (not trying to stoke flames) I believe it will drop in in other places besides DZ, but true to form they will gate it to the raid, which once completed you more than likely will have to wait a week for a reset. Think about it, it was done in D1. Another form of "encouragement " NOT funneling. But its the way it is accept it, Dont let it burn you out or turn your disposition sour. Good Gaming All...

    Way off buddy, waaaaaay off.

Never said or assumed they were doing it intentionally....and....I do not feel entitled to anything other than being able to ask a question....

I will say this and I only say this cause I care...there are just as many decaffeinated brands on the market that are just as tasty as the real thing...

In any case, if you don't want to enter the DZ, just don't.

As for balance, you'll first need to define what's the center of gravity, and that center of gravity may be different from person to person.

Let me guess, the reward for completion was a high end gear piece and a packet of polos?

    Yup thought so.

I say frankly, those DZ projects are better to be more useless - just some extra tiny rewards for completing the projects, no backfire if you choose to ignore 'em.

I only play the daily hard and ignore everything else, the rewards are just not worth it.
