i have a "battle ready" lightsaber in my home and i have all starwars games. if i want to play with a lightsaber i dont need to PLAY FOR HONOR.
i play for honor because i like the medieval ambiance. why you can not understand this?
i love this game, i love starwars but i dont want to play FOR HONOR with lightsaber.
its so basic, not hard to understand.
The sounds can get pretty over the top in 4v4 modes, but all in all, it's pretty fun. Or at least, I'm so apathetic to what For Honor does these days this doesn't phase me anymore than the AC event, or the Halloween game modes do.
If it's any consolation, playing this in the background makes the whole thing entirely bearable;
I really don't get why people are so irritated. People are acting like their salary got taken away and have to do unpaid overtime. It's 1 day of a 'whacky' event. If it bothers you THAT much: For Honor isn't the only game out there and there are also other things you can do apart from playing games. If you don't have much free time, than I can empathise with you, but that doesn't mean you should try and get these 'events' to stop because YOU don't like it. That's really selfish.
I've also seen someone suggest that Ubi could've reworked Valkyrie in that "lost" time. That's just delusional. It's pretty obvious that the visual & audio department don't balance the game. Just like in other companies. You can't expect the marketing department to create the product themselves, manually, from scratch.
Maybe it might be best for Ubi to add a 'toggle' in the options menu to disallow effects (visual & audio changes) to show up during these events for those who don't enjoy them.
