    Control Point capture bug

    Hello,

    Only posting out of frustration, normally just ignore it and move on, but this keeps happening more often than not. Eliminated all the NPCs on CP4. Capture team bugs out, disappears and yet it shows that capture is in progress, 10 mins later they walk in, i have the control point but main loot chest cannot be opened.

    Really annoying especially when clearing out +4

    EDIT: and also no reward for capture.

    Yeah, I did a control point level 4 today and the yellow chest wouldn't open. Waited around a minute or two, still nothing so I just left.

    Captured Taxi Gravyard Lvl3. Flare guns says "No allies available"?! Same happened last night...

    I have had multiple times where 3 and 4 gets me nothing.

    Normal cause. The ally Capt dies (not supposed to die) and you cant call more because the ally capt is dead at your feet and doesn't de-spawn. You walk a block away and back and the allies take over the stronghold, cause you won it already, but you get none of the rewards.


    "No allies available" normally means there is or was a rival faction attacking the control point and they must die or have died but their capt has not de-spawned. Sometimes TPing the the nearest point and coming back fixes it. sometimes you get your allies or a rival faction takes it over.

    Yup, I went and took Navy Hill Lvl3 came back to Taxi Gravyard and called the allies no problem. Got all the loot.

    Thats not normal. Normally if teh main NPC dies, you can revive him at any point. He even stay revivable if you die and run back. This was also one instance, sometimes NPCs come and stuck in a perpetual take over, no mob waves spawn. These are all bugs.

    That's how its meant to work, the NPC remains rez-able. However more often then not, when you are stuck,he is actually dead and un-rezable and will not despawn till you leave the area. Then they just take over the CP before you return. Yes it is a bug introduced when they made him "unkillable" since he is "unkillable" he will not despawn so you can't call more allies like before.

    Ive seen enough control point bugs to be convinced, this needs a lot of attention. I hope that in TU3 they have put some time on these issues. I've said many times before and will say again..... it would be helpful if they would provide this community some insight into whatever they are using to intake and triage issues. Most of us are reasonable and understanding, and will be much more tolerant of issues like this if we know it is being worked -- or at least planned to be worked.

    Did you kill an elite patrol at all?

    This has happened to me three times now and in all cases I had killed an elite patrol to get the base to either level 3 or level 4.

    Actually, my problem is very different.

    After I kill an elite patrol, it says the CP has gone up to 3 or 4, but when I get there, there are no enemies at all to get the take over started. I have to call allies in, wait a certain length of time, normally a few minutes, and then hopefully some enemies spawn.
