Thats what i've been saying, Raider plays as he did before, except he is not a free kill anymore for the SB and light spamming cancer heroes.
Raider is like the last character on the roster you would want to spam shield bash against. He pretty much is invulnerable to shield bash/GB mixup and always has been.

You all act like you can pull a 30-0 kill rate in a domi match now with Raider. He can start his combos with a light now and suddenly stunning tap became a problem cause he can actually chain heavies after it? Hey Ubi you know what revert the changes so these whiners will finally shut up. I will still own most of your asses just like i did before.
Is that the standard now? People have to be able to go 30-0 in a dominion match in order to point out problems with a character?

Raider already had a strong defensive tool with dodge GB. He already had good damage. He has higher than average health. He could already dish out excessive stamina damage. He was already damn good in 4v4 but was subpar in 1v1, however he still was far from unsalvageable in 1v1 and his rework should have included some nerfs to his already existing strengths if they were going to give him all of the goodies they did.

The bare minimum should have been that they removed dodge GB. They gave Raider soft feint into GB on all of his heavies and zones to catch people that side dodged to avoid both the heavy/zone and stunning tap simultaneously, yet Raider gets to keep his ability that lets him bypass many mixups.

He can also get you into OOS or near OOS very easily compared to most characters and he has an unblockable from neutral which can now soft feint into GB. And everytime I've gotten thrown while in OOS by a Raider, they were able to get a stunning tap into raider's fury for huge damage. I'm not entirely sure if it's guaranteed, but it sure seems like it. So he gets amazing OOS pressure while being extremely good at putting people into OOS.

I'm seeing those who aren't fans of the changes mention their experience of what it's like to actually fight Raiders. For those don't have much issue with the changes, how are you finding the fights from a "fun"/"gameplay" perspective (rather than just straight win/loss balancing)?

I don’t have problems with raider because I’m used to dealing with cancer machines like him back during cent and shaman era. But that doesn’t change the fact they he needs to be toned down ASAP.

People have been wanting a Raider rework for eons now. And now that hes viable, I can main him. I just never expected to see so much whining and crying about how OP he is lol. I still get my **** rocked by orochi or really any hero, and I have 600 hours in the game. Point is, if they remove dodge into GB then whatever. But removing heavy into GB or nerfing his stunning tap is just gonna make him fish tier again.

What do you mean ''parry a stunning tap and half their health is gone''? let's not mention it's 500 ms now, and it does even more damage, but the only way I'm taking half your hp from that is if you got parried with the back to the wall, and that is YOUR fault, not the game's. Do you even understand how overwhelming it feels to play Centurion and having to watch out for 500 ms lights, zone that does 50 dmg after a stunning tap, which in total is 68 dmg, more than Centurion full cutscene in a SECOND all the while being BLINDED, but oh he can soft feint it into another blind, oh but watch out cause he can soft feint it into gb, then I get thrown to the ground, stun tapped again and here we go again

I'm sorry I'm assaulting your main but put yourself in my shoes man. You think that is fair? How? Centurion's only gimmick was the cutscene and the soft feint into gb, now Raider has way way better mix ups, more damage, hyper armor on heavies, 500 ms lights and stunning tap, soft feint into gb from UNBLOCKABLE which forces you to parry or dodge which results in the gb (cent can only soft feint from normal heavy which means 0 pressure). So tell me, tell me bro, how am I supposed to beat that with Cent? Parrying everything? Good, the only thing every character can do, remove that and what can I do to stop you? Nothing, admit it, your main is overloaded and doesn't need this power
Ok, i won't say that Centurion is the best now. But for the love of merciful God, I remember this little buddy when he came out - sorry, still hate him. U are not talking about Berserker but only about Raider, yet u compare him to Centurion xD we have to compare to something. Now maybe compare him to his pre - reworked version. He had 600 ms lights - i can tell u that it is a free parry (light parry), and now he has 500 ms and people suddenly forget how to parry 500 ms hits xD? come on... i won't even speak about stunning tap cause it is literally the same as before with this difference that now u can mix it up and NO, nothing after a stunning tap is guarateed. U say that i don't need this tools cause u don't have it. Still Zerks, Conqs, Shaolins and others have it (even better things...) so maybe reconsider your thoughts and stop blaming Raider viable tools (tools which FINALLY allows him to pick the fight with zerk), and think about what Centurion needs to be better. As I said, Raider was on the bottom in the duels and now he is finally viable. And u are even saying that being parried by a Cent with back to the wall is my fault. It is MY fault that with one mistake i lost half life just because he have cutscene combo with i cannot do NOTHING to stop. I am not saying that Cent is good and actually i find him weak even as a pre reworked Raider, but ffs man - Cent weakness doesn;t make Raider overpowered when we have even better heroes with more stupid movement. I can only admit that fighting Centurion Raider doesn;t need this power, and for the fight with Centurion Raider didn;t even need a rework. For the fight with berserker he absolutely need his powers - all of them.

Invulnerable in theory. I can even smell that u are Conq player. First thing u want is to remove a dodge GB, which is the only thing what can (i repeat - CAN) stop infinite bash spam. Second thing is that u complain about OOS as a Conq? Once u go OOS fighting a Conq u end up dead, killed by bash/GB spam. And this combo u mention is guaranteed, but not safe as it is a free GB for the opponent and most of Raiders which did this combo will be OOS after this, so GB will give u a free heavy after a fall for example.

its funny that ArchDuke is against an op raider because he plays conq but he was the poster child on keeping the op as **** conq back some months ago. if he played raider i guarantee he would be for the changes.

raider is broken as is the zerker but ubi just won't listen so get used to him. they left the zerker, the conq and others broken so have fun orochi players, cent players, valk players, etc..

I played with and against him today in dominion and i think he is in good shape now. He works basicly the same with abit faster attacks and more damage. He seems balanced and viable, defenitly not s tier but he is strong. Rework is ok IMO. Lawbringer on the other hand needed more complete rework he is still gimped in initate fights like before,

I can tell u that now i have fun. I don't mind losing now cause i know i have tools to deal with most of the opponents but i have to use it wise. Now gameplay is more dynamic and i am trying new mix-ups and actually use the lights from neutral (which is real relief, u can trust me ). Overall just thank u, I came back after being depressed how Raider 1v1 looks like, and now i can turn on this mode and having fun. U toned down the stampede which was super stupidly good in 4v4 (everybody ofc don't mind that u took his ultimate weapon in 4v4 modes, but WHO CARES) and now it is more adequate and i am grateful
