Game crashes while loading / starting

    Hi guys,

after going through some problems with my GR Wildlands game I went through several pages of crash-issues other had and can't find a solution so I'm starting my own cry to help...

    My system:
    Win7 Professional N 64bit 6.1.7601 Service Pack 1 Build 7601
    Intel(R) COre(TM) i5-4570 CPU @3.20 GHz
    NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770
16 GB RAM (don't have the exact spec, but it from Crucial and 2x 8 GB slots)

So the problem initially started while playing the Narco Road DLC. The game crashed as it had done on some very rare occasions before. I restarted the game or more accurately I tried to... Would always crash while loading and lead to a minimized blackscreen. Sometimes I would get to the main menu but it would crash while loading always to a minimized blackscreen. At the time I left it at that, cause I was through with the game and didn't really bother.

Now I want to play again and play the new missions and play all the DLC, but I still have the same problem.

Now, what have I done to fix the problem:
Verified game files <- no issues
Reinstalled the game <- still same problem
Deleted save games <- no change
https://support.ubi.com/en-US/faqs/0...roubleshooting <- did it all, didn't work (Could start the game, crashes to minimized screen after intro-video; I hear sound in the background and apparently the controller works cause I hear moving sounds)

I don't know what to do else, so please give me all the suggestions you have, perhaps something will work.

I want to play this great game again <3

    Thanks!

PS: submitted a ticket to Ubisoft support, but perhaps someone here has ideas, too

Hi there, thank you for providing these details and sorry to hear you are experiencing these difficulties while attempting to launch Ghost Recon : Wildlands. As you have advised you have already worked through our troubleshooting faq and created a support ticket, could you confirm whether you have provided us with your system reports (dxdiag / msinfo), also if possible could you confirm your support ticket number and we can get this looked into a soon as possible.

    Same problem here,
I did not played game for a long time and now I was hyped from the new Ghost Recon game and tried to play…
Some random crashes (black screen and game minimize itself in start menu). I hear the sound from the game but cannot return game window. After that game crashes every time after first screen before NVidia logo.
PC restart and deleting GRW configuration fix it and game load again until next random crash.
    Win7 Professional 64bit last updates
    Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3450 CPU @3.10 GHz (boost 3.60)
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 driver ver. 430.64 (05/09/19)
8 GB RAM 2x 4 GB Corsair Vengeance
I think its driver problem. Viber crash with the game and do that also every time when I update video drivers. I try without Viber - same problem. I have no problems with the game before.

Word for Word exactly what happens to me and let me guess the only way you've gotten pasts the loading screen you'd have to completely restart your computer

and deleting GRW configuration in "\My Documents\My Games\Ghost Recon Wildlands" also fix it until the next crash.
Also have some flashing textures in game: https://youtu.be/RHgKLhsgqw8

I found problem with my case - Nvidia Graphic Driver crash. -> CASE NUMBER 08878607
I found an old Nvidia driver package 382.33 (04.06.2017) on my HDD and with them the game works perfectly.
    P.S.
There may be more recent ones who also work. Last two ones definitely are broken(430.64 and 430.86).
I made some tests and last working drivers are 399.24(september 2018). All 4XX.XX are broken for GR Wildlands and GR Breakpoint.
