🛈 Announcement
Greetings! The Crew forums are now archived and accessible in read-only mode, please go to the new platform to discuss the game

Remove the horn button from the left stick or just add an option to disable it!!

Re-maping my controller buttons on the Xbox settings is not an option, as that change would apply to other games and it would be incredible frustrating and annoying re-mapping everytime I want to play The Crew 2 or another game.

If you cannot find a suitable contoller map, just add an option, in in-game settings, to disable the horn. It's so annoying to play the horn all the time, when I'm turning a bit harder!

You did this to The Crew 1 and so many people complained, why did you do this again to us? I like a lot the game but, this is so incredible annoying that it gives me will to stop the game! But I bought the game digitally and Xbox wouldn't give a refund for this.

Please team, implement this change for us!

    Agree 100%.

I can not cruise or race anymore because of this, very annoying.

    Horns!!!

I agree. Such a simple fix, I stopped playing the game a few months back because of this. Who the hell wants to hear that. What a shame, such a cool game otherwise.

Use an external re-mapping tool that has profile-saving abilities. I use a controller and can re-map the horn to an unused button.

How does using the horn and lights cause you to stop playing? It's not that bad...

Maybe it's not that bad, but it is still annoying. It happens to me as well from time to time and I would prefer if we could just bind the horn to "None" instead of being forced to select some button. Interestingly enough it was possible in TC1 by editing the respective config file with a text editor, but I did not test it in TC2, yet.

It would be much simpler to just make the headlights turn on/off based on time of day and keep horn as its own key/button toggle. I'd love to flash my hi-beams aka Midnight Club style at others.
