Here we go, day 2 of the new patch and ppl already whining about raider being god tier OP. I've played Raider since i bought the game a year ago. Where were these posts then when he was the lowest underdog? Now he gets to soft feint gb from heavies and zone (shaman could do this since her release)and HA on 2nd and 3rd heavy and suddenly hes OP? I only ever used the 1st heavy hard or soft fainting the rest, so i might as well wipe my *** with that HA cause its ****ing worthless. EVERYONE can parry those regardless of HA. Have you even played Raider before and after the patch? There is hardly any difference in his playstyle. There's vortiger the most disgusting hero ever created, the shugo rework, the damn chinese, now the new hero shugo 2.0 with endless uninterruptible UB spamm but your real problem is the bit buffed up Raider. You guys are a ****ing joke.

1/Raider has never been the lowest underdog and was even a top pick in 4v4 before his rework

2/He has many issues before, 100% agree on that. But are people wrong to say Raider got a bit too much with his rework ? No. At least these dmg buff wasnt needed. Raiders fury should even have been nerfed.

BUT the way you handle this is terrible. Raider probably outshines hitokiri this patch and its her frickin release!

I and the competitive community and many others have always said his gb dodge was unfair. In leiu of the other changes to lb and this patch in general it is very easy for many players to feel extremely slighted by this massive buff to raider who was viable still in the first place in good hands.

Let me say that again.

Massive buff. And im okay with it. But downplaying it is stupid. In the history of the last 5 reworks all have been side buffs. Raider is an all around upgrade with quote a few incredible new things helping him in ganks (which btw is what the HA you claim is useless is for) and outside. This is an incredible rework and its not surprising many other mains are butthurt about it.

What is surprising is someone being butthurt in return about any criticism.

Butthurt? No, just annoyed a bit, there are still much more worse heroes to fight against in the game than Raider. I'm not downplaying his rework, its good but nowhere near that OP as others claim. Sure he was viable in good hands, i usually ended at the top of the list in most of my dom matches, but you had to put in twice the work than with other heroes you have to admit that.

The thing is, he doesn't even need to be in good hands... I have played raider a handful of times prior to this patch (orochi / shaman main) and literally dominated with him.... he's completely overcooked. How can anyone look at an orochi and say we gave raider x3 lights as well as a 300ms bash follow by that 50 unblockable...

The assassin class is in a real mess in comparison to what they are doing for heavies...

The OP is a bit hyperbolic but the fact is the raider got a really heavy buff and giving him another way to GB you is probably the worst offense.
