    I'll explain myself more clearly

    1) HA on opener and then access at any point to 18 damage HA fast light is a big problem. If you are looking to trade into her you have to wait for the first hit. If you succeed in for example slipping with a dodge the opening attack the Hitokiri can cover their mistake with a HA light. This is ontop of all the massive options within the kit

    2) the stamina or damage (either would fix the issue) on lights/uncharged heavies seems off to me

    3) the feat is just stupid... 'fun' is subjective - and alot of people are not enjoing it. I find its just getting smashing into the one good player on an opposing team during ganks/revenge... thats stupid by any measure

    4) the red hit indicator during charging makes multiplayer a nightmare as I can't see properly, it basically blinds you to that side & can be feinted so timing memory won't help either...

    Basically the HA on opener coupled with HA (on demand light finisher) makes it easy to recover from the mistakes you should be punished for. There are enough mixup options from the heavies that the HA light is just a spam/over the top move


    EDIT: what i mean is that she has the same issues as beserker where you just can't use something like a dodge attack properly or engage them if they have started an attack. Playing PK & Cent into it is something akin to refined torture

    We had Shugo & Warlord busting out heavies since launch, the concept is nothing new it just comes with this annoying beserker level 'whoops I made a mistake oh well' button

    EDIT EDIT: my problem isnt with not being able to beat her, its that in order to do so the flow and pace of my games becomes stilted and boring for me... I play hyper aggressive to rattle loose a mistake and punish, this is not something that works against her. Instead you wait out the combo & parry (only parry don't dodge outside the kick which is very rare to see past the first two successfuly dodges...)

    My intense dislike for her is that you can be aggressive with any hero.. its up to the player. This one is just a spam machine for people who lack the courage to take risks in their attacks with the rest of the cast (thats not an insult directed at anyone its just my feelz on the thought process behind this design) & that gets in the way of being aggressive with the others as one is built for it. The day I cant stretch heros to play differently is the day I put this down forever... I don't want to have to pick a certain hero to just be 'the aggressive one'

    As you said this is subjective. To me it is fun but not strong enough. It is stupidly easy to avoid for a 4th feat.

    Otherwise, i dont have problems with her indicator or stam/dmg.

    I can hear she can have a full HA chain by doing H - L yes. But i dont feel it is broken, if you know it is coming you can just Dodge and parry the light.

    Saying Hitokiri is for people Who want to play with no risks isnt really objective as her recovery is a free GB for her opponent. Her bash mix up is nothing crazy to deal with and give a free GB on a miss.

    And as i already say her Dodge and zone are nothing special so to me she is pretty fine. Even slighly weak for a new heroe (we use to have OP heroes on release compare to this one).

    I can also hear it is hard to play PK or Cent agaisnt her, but playing PK or Cent is hard against anyone atm.

    Shugo kit have a good focus on heavies but not as much as Hitokiri.
    This is the 1st heroe based on an infinite heavy chain and execution.

    So Imo they made a good job on her.

    Her recovery is a HA light attack from any direction.

    I'm not talking about her whole kit, I spent 28 reps using a pre rework shogu @ high level duels with good win rates - how? Variable timing heavies mixed mid chain (i.e. heavy blocked/whiffed into varied heavy). It took about 12 seconds to adapt that to her and then use the lights to fix any mistakes. I couldn't bring myself to touch her after that until some nerf - cent's 25 damage 2 heavy chain with variable timing is the thing I use to keep him functioning. This is a 30 damage infinate version with HA light at anytime to fix mistakes and a feintable charged UB at anytime. Added with a forward dash GB AND warden level bash. With Goki I had the restriction of having to feint the second heavy to even start charging and trade with HA...


    EDIT: I try attack back, I dont want to turtle, most I'll ever block is 2 attacks. however you can't wiith the speed of the followup spam or even the light as it carries hyper armour. IMO this is a very poorly designed character who is doing the things I do with various character far better with less risk.... I can't even bring myself to play her it feels so damn broken

    Learn to play her focused on variable heavies with lights to close out mistakes. See you in about 6 months on the 'omfg this is broken' forum

    Absolutely not. Your devs have spent the last significant amount of time rolling back defence and buffing offence to break 'turtle meta' then release an aggressive character who capitalizes on all these things... anyone relying on any semblance of reads is going to lose. The reason its not happening yet is there is a fair bit of skill in timing what abilities to use when with her & when, but if done correctly she can pretty much safely engage & suffer no consequences for mistakes given how late EVERYTHING can be feinted if the opponent looks to make the correct play & any whiffed attacks can be closed out with a HA light. There are no combos to learn to count through and work through as its all infinite chain so counter play consists almost of random luck

    She's so fun to vs i've D/L'd some other games and have parked for honor. I have access to her but feel its broken so don't want to play it, and coupled with the raider rework the game is just not fun to play UNLESS you jump on that bandwagon of a character who can spam bashes or has HA out the wazoo - and I don't think its just me, for the first time in a long time duels at peak periods on my server are 'low activity' - less players than odd times just after the patch dropped

    I'm lurking the forums for abit to see if anything changes, but if not i'll just have to accept the game has grown away from me

    I mentioned that but everyone in this thread seems to think its all fine... it's just one aspect overtuned in a bundle of overtuned things
