I'll explain myself more clearly
1) HA on opener and then access at any point to 18 damage HA fast light is a big problem. If you are looking to trade into her you have to wait for the first hit. If you succeed in for example slipping with a dodge the opening attack the Hitokiri can cover their mistake with a HA light. This is ontop of all the massive options within the kit
2) the stamina or damage (either would fix the issue) on lights/uncharged heavies seems off to me
3) the feat is just stupid... 'fun' is subjective - and alot of people are not enjoing it. I find its just getting smashing into the one good player on an opposing team during ganks/revenge... thats stupid by any measure
4) the red hit indicator during charging makes multiplayer a nightmare as I can't see properly, it basically blinds you to that side & can be feinted so timing memory won't help either...
Basically the HA on opener coupled with HA (on demand light finisher) makes it easy to recover from the mistakes you should be punished for. There are enough mixup options from the heavies that the HA light is just a spam/over the top move
EDIT: what i mean is that she has the same issues as beserker where you just can't use something like a dodge attack properly or engage them if they have started an attack. Playing PK & Cent into it is something akin to refined torture
We had Shugo & Warlord busting out heavies since launch, the concept is nothing new it just comes with this annoying beserker level 'whoops I made a mistake oh well' button
EDIT EDIT: my problem isnt with not being able to beat her, its that in order to do so the flow and pace of my games becomes stilted and boring for me... I play hyper aggressive to rattle loose a mistake and punish, this is not something that works against her. Instead you wait out the combo & parry (only parry don't dodge outside the kick which is very rare to see past the first two successfuly dodges...)
My intense dislike for her is that you can be aggressive with any hero.. its up to the player. This one is just a spam machine for people who lack the courage to take risks in their attacks with the rest of the cast (thats not an insult directed at anyone its just my feelz on the thought process behind this design) & that gets in the way of being aggressive with the others as one is built for it. The day I cant stretch heros to play differently is the day I put this down forever... I don't want to have to pick a certain hero to just be 'the aggressive one'
As you said this is subjective. To me it is fun but not strong enough. It is stupidly easy to avoid for a 4th feat.
Otherwise, i dont have problems with her indicator or stam/dmg.
I can hear she can have a full HA chain by doing H - L yes. But i dont feel it is broken, if you know it is coming you can just Dodge and parry the light.
Saying Hitokiri is for people Who want to play with no risks isnt really objective as her recovery is a free GB for her opponent. Her bash mix up is nothing crazy to deal with and give a free GB on a miss.
And as i already say her Dodge and zone are nothing special so to me she is pretty fine. Even slighly weak for a new heroe (we use to have OP heroes on release compare to this one).
I can also hear it is hard to play PK or Cent agaisnt her, but playing PK or Cent is hard against anyone atm.
Shugo kit have a good focus on heavies but not as much as Hitokiri.
This is the 1st heroe based on an infinite heavy chain and execution.
So Imo they made a good job on her.
