Edit:
From the previously mentioned storm statement, I take it back, I have seen and read feedback about the changes that will come to be when it goes live after PTS has been concluded. However, I do still sense a storm might hit the shores. How much of the storm will bring about destruction once it hits is a mystery. I guess it all depends on how everyone will feel about the changes so far (in PTS). What they like and don't like.
Whatever the outcome, I hope Ubisoft/Massive/Red Storm is prepared for what will come next. A mystery indeed. Don't get me wrong, some of the changes I have seen so far, are not to bad (IMO), could be better.
Perhaps I exaggerated that the player base will drop by a ton but still it would drop to a critical low (IMO), if the changes we see in PTS are going to go live. Some of the changes (IMO) such as; Berserk (where it's increased from 10% to 20%), Patience, to name a couple (surely there is more) and also Weapon Talents such as (Unhinged, Unstoppable Force, Frenzy, etc.
There is more to it but the point is, the changes are increased by alot in these categories and myself and perhaps others, the changes are not to welcoming (if it goes live). Personally (for example), I like where Berserk is right now and increasing the amount of Armor missing well that's a downer. It could be better.
wait, what??? They nerfed the NPCs again in the PTS?Originally Posted by Sensible-Jack Go to original post
Just curious, is this stuff you read or have you actually logged into PTS and seen first hand how it all works together? I am guessing, like most, you are making stuff up off of something you read, with zero firsthand knowledge. I have actually been playing on the PTS and so far it seems like a HUGE improvement to the game that will attract all the buyers that weren't dumb enough to buy it at release, nothing like your dire predictions at all, the exact opposite in fact.Originally Posted by RavenShadowDust Go to original post
FYI, you can't just look at a couple bits and pieces out of the full context. You need to experience it first hand, as does everyone before developing an opinion. But yes, all the folks that follow the tubers and have their builds broken, will most likely be upset. Me personally, I had to swap out exactly one piece of gear on PTS to adjust my R/B/Y and make my build work again. Then of course, I don't run a OP tuber build stacking red on red, so that makes sense, I also love some of the changes, as they will help me considerably tweak my build to be even more powerful and optimized than before.
Don't worry, there will a whole slew of new tuber builds out there adjusting for the changes the day after this patch drops and most will probably stay. The only bad part is, it hasn't happened already.
