Uhh, I guess this was left out of the patch notes. Hunted is now visually detected? I was doing challenge #1 today (extreme difficulty destroy 5 enemy vehicles in a row without being visually detected)...
Simple enough. I call in a SB helicopter, boom 1/5. Im at Malca Charlie, so i look out. Passing unidad chopper, cool 2/5. Then i look down and to the east is the unidad military hospital. Its about 700 meters away, with with 2 vehicles. Sweet, pull out the BFG, crank 2 more. Then all of a sudden after blowing those 2 im hunted, but not visually detected... challenge fail.
Come on, really?
Alright if you say so, I guess its just never happened to me before. Or if it did, it never registered in my mind until nowOriginally Posted by CrockfordCK Go to original post
yep, same thing happened to me, nobody saw me shooting the vehicle but of course as soon as the vehicle blew up everyone got spooked and the hunted signal popped up and the challenge reversed back to zero.
Tried la plaga after that, the door before the tunnel didn't opened twice for me and I failed the mission on the last tried because they killed me going up the hill on that other spot where la plaga ends up and it said, the target got away. He can't get away, that is where he ends up and stays until you either kill him or he kills you and the mission restart with you inside the tunnel. Oh well, I was to tired to try it a 4th time so no crates today I guess.
Definition of "visually detected" as used in the various challenges has been the subject of previous posts. Two examples from last year:Originally Posted by Dino-Valletta Go to original post

For me, now when it so states and has the requirement of "in a row", if at all possible I destroy all the targets in one setting.
I already know the outcome of this question but I am going to ask it in hopes that the feedback may get back to those making the next GR game and they fix this issue... If I iced/down/kill/eradicate the guy who barely saw me kill him, can it really be considered visually detected? I mean, who is he going to tell if he is dead in the blink of an eye.
