Coney Island is beautiful I really enjoyed the mission
Texture problems? Not getting better it's getting worse. Check the bookshelf in the back of this video the rendering is completely broken with shapes popping in and out almost at random. It's the hallway in the White House so not any recent content.
PS4 Pro, 1TB SSD.
Ps4
Stock hdd
Disc
Textures missing can’t be a rare occasion .. only if you play very slow then you don’t have this issue ..
If you are on external disc and run too fast the game loses the connection to the actual texture and you experience. That even the geometry is boxy and super basic like cars are rectangular boxes .. then your char slows down until he hits ab invisible wall ..
It’s better with internal disc but not gone .. and it’s very often.
Did you watch the video I posted above?Originally Posted by Hellekeen Go to original post
You can't possibly move any slower than that and the texture problems are just bonkers
Hi, I've the sames issues, even on a new SSD. But for me the most noticeable and tedious are the draw distance for some objects, it's too short. The worse are the small objects, they literally disappear and appear in front of you (on 2 meters or so, candles, bottles, trash, portable lights... ). All of these are decorative and only affect inmersion, but the problem also affect objects like explosive barrels, flammable bottles, electric registers... those are breaking de gameplay options because they are impossible to see from middle to large distances, they are visibles only if you use a sniper scope, of course they are on range for shot on all weapons but you can't see them.Originally Posted by chrisonamission Go to original post
I owned the Pc version first because of my friends, but the lack of vibration and fine control on movements on PC make me buy the Ps4 version to play with all his features. The texture problem still present also on PC on a less degree, even with an SSD, but the distance of streaming is configurable, and man it's night and day. This bring me to the conclusion that the problem is part from a software issue but more important a hardware limit on consoles. I think the tech team knows this and make the decision to cut down some settings to ensure smooth 30 fps no matter what happening on screen. Almost a year has past since the game launches and this problems still there, most probably they still forever.
