Hello everyone, apologies that we have not kept on top of this thread.
We did add this forum thread to the investigation, so we could get an idea of how many players were affected and what their experience was.
I'm sorry that it is still affecting some of you. I appreciate that we have requested media several times in the past, however would it be possible to provide an up to date video of the issue, so we can review the current impact and push this as best we can? All of the information you have provided is perfect and we will continue to use that, I'd just like to see how the issue currently looks.
SURE we can provide the footage AGAIN and AGAIN and AGAIN.
Not sure why I still can be bothered posting on here and not join the crowds on twitter since it seems a waste of time & effort on here
Here we go. Want the footage straight away? Pay for my vimeo or offer other upload space Doooh
Shelf in the background takes eight (8) seconds to fill https://vimeo.com/362539408 (NOT an isolated incident)
Shadows are completely broken and make no sense whatsoever https://vimeo.com/362543568 (esp the stairs at the beginning) and https://vimeo.com/362543923 (razor wire isn't shaky vegetation, also check the shadows cast by the solar panels)
Random glitches like the roof part popping in and the visual chaos the weapon aims at (stops when zoomed, back right after) https://vimeo.com/362544139
Guess that's what happens when "tubers" are asked to check and promote beta's not those actually interested in a functional game
Thank you. I have added everything you provided to the investigation.Originally Posted by chrisonamission Go to original post
Once again I apologise for the lack of communication regarding this issue.
I dont't get it, dont u guys from Ubisoft or Massive play the game at all?
I have a suggestion.
Go and buy a PS4 or PS4 Pro, plug it in and buy The Division 2 and u will see for ur self how the game runs, Shadows, slow texture loadings.
And be honest and tell us if u think the game is worth the money.
I love the game, i loved divison 1 also, but i will proly never ever buy a ubisoft game again if u dont fix this asap.
1. Audio delay when switching weapons.
2. Audio lost when fast travel.
3. The icon for primary, secondary and sidearm wont show up when switching weapons sometimes.
4. No gun audio direct after fast travel or when plant turret. (Audio comes back after few sec)
5. Start game even character screen takes time to load in... omg..
6. Textures loads slow, trees, cars, wallpaintings.
If ya stand still u see the world is rendering.
7. Audio seems unsynced sometimes, like suddenly i can hear that i loot a bag, but it was lile 7 seconds ago.
How is this still a problem in 2020? I just started playing The Division 2 on a PS4 Pro, with a 1TB SSD installed, so not even a slow stock drive (Though it shouldn't happen on stock drives...). I was very surprised to see such huge problems, with a game that has launched almost a year ago.
I'm seeing all the issues described, with delayed audio, audio out of sync, audio getting stuck in a loop, slow loading of textures, invisible walls because objects hasn't loaded in and even invisible enemies! Oh yeah and slow loading of objects in menus, everything from whole sections of the menu to items in inventory not loading. I tried it all, with restarting the machine and rebuilding the database, nothing really helps.
I know the game is limited by the older CPU in the PS4 and PS4 Pro, but it's not really a problem in other open worlds games, heck even another Ubisoft game like the massive assassin's creed odyssey run fine. Heck you could even make some options for the game, eg. performance and graphics. Let the current level of details be graphics, and then lower the graphics and level detail a bit with the performance setting, so the game runs smoothly. I wouldn't mind if the game was a tad more "ugly", if it meant getting rid of all these problems, since it seems like you can't figure out getting it sorted with the current level of details in the game.

I just upgraded to the pro a month ago, but my old PS4 Origin had the same problem. (I was using the same external HDD, because the Origin has only 500 GB storage.) For me most of the time, this issue happens after I fast travel or leaving safe area.
