In a certain sense the Apache is better at close air support in that it can hover there and poor on the hate and discontent, whereas fixed wing aircraft have to keep moving.     That said, that sort of close air support would be super OP in this game. 2000-6000 rounds per minute of 20mm, nothing survives that. That Apache or Warthog cannon will chew through tank armor, humans... Well humans disappear. The A-10 will do it's strafing runs at around 100ft AGL. If you hunt around the interwebs, you can find pictures of them with blood spatter up over the canopy. That is just way to OP for GR game.

    All that (and fixing the AI) is only a matter of making it a priority. In Wildlands, those have no place, but they could easily be integrated into a future project. I don't see that ever happening though.

    Now the outpouring has come out of people wanting an AI squad after the Breakpoint reveal....

    I received a lot of criticism in wanting an AI squad that I could command and utilize as Ghost Lead, not happening now.

    I tried boys, I tried.

    This was a fun project, Rest in Peace AI Fireteam, rest in peace.

    I am witcha 100% but like I said on another thread, I will wait for the game to come out to see how cheesy it really is between 1 guy Ramboning his way fighting through drones from hell while killing other Ghosts like him before I get it and pretend I am playing Far Cry 2 (from Crytek of course) and hope that someday, we will get the proper GR experience ever again.


    Now, I am wondering how Blue will spin this new GR iteration around though... that should be exciting

    Reimagining the classes into AI fireteam operators.

    Just me re-imagining the classes from the trailer/alpha gameplay footage into AI fireteam operators with skills.


    Named Pantera because of Panther class, Nida Lee is based off LoL's character Nidalee who can shapeshift into a panther. Trailer showcased her karambit, smoke bombs and speed. Obvious rogue centric class.


    Named Ripper because RIP, he was owned by a tank drone in the Alpha Gameplay. Named Chuck after a Ghost who looks like Edris Elba who is RIP from a headshot from Bodark. Trailer showcased he uses an AT4 and had a drone on his backpack. Obvious Support/Demolition Class.



    Named Paektu because it's the large mountain in S.Korea. Why Korea, because I based him off of Sniper Mike Kim from Ghost Recon 2? In the trailer the character had obvious Asian features, in the Alpha Gameplay, he was sporting orange/red hair. Trailer showcased he uses different Ammunition and livestream commented on different types of rounds. Obvious Sniper/Sharpshooter Class.

    some spelling and grammar errors on the badges. Just a quick 1hr project to do the 3.

    I will change the names and all that once more official information is readily available.
