so many broken things in the game out weigh anything good.
1. getting pinned and stuck constantly,
2. so many times for the error screen its now in the 100s (dont bother giving a reason now, just a number),
3. enemies that seem to be able to dodge bullets better than neo,
4. invisible drones and enemies that just appear behind you or after they've killed you,
5. no sound of helicopters, guns, grenades, drones, enemies,
6. falling through the map,
7. being shot by turrets, enemies from with in the walls,
8. skills not working properly as in you throw your seeker mines but they just sit there doing fk all or how about the drone that flies off in the opposite direction or gets stuck at
a doorway or by a tree, hive revive works when ever it feels like it, same with the chem launcher, turret fires blanks,
9. shotguns are pointless, they just dont work at all especially the double barrel variety,
10. the cross bow in survivalist specialization does not go where you aim it,
11. camera view moving on its own making aiming impossible
12. enemies bursting through doors and then teleport back out of the room to do a da ja vu take
13. riot foam guys still spin you around to face the opposite way and the wascally skill does not work,
14. replacing armor to have it take a kit away and not replenish armor,
15. grenades not going off
16. guns that were reloaded aren't when switched to
its a very poor situation for this shambles of a game, give credit where credit is due, it looks good but has absolutely no playability.
maybe thats why it was reduced just a month after release because it is one phucked game
Yeah, we get it, Division games launch buggy. 99% of AAA games these days release with bugs and are not perfectly optimized until patched down the line. that's the world we live in, time lines and dead lines.
But to compare it to the release state of 76 and Anthem? Now that's just silly.
Neither of those statements in your title are true, division 2 has outsold both (as far as first month sales numbers go) and has far better positive outlook than either in media coverage. Also a flop indicates the game didn't do well financially, and there is no player in history that relied on a games sales numbers to have fun...
The rest of your post at least has some relevance albeit limited to negative experiences in the game without continuing the theme of comparing and contrasting to the other two games, and are in some cases bugs and others are highly subjective.
1. known issue
2. probably your personal hardware/software issues, since I've seen an error maybe 5 times in the entire month and that was all in one week
3. Known issue with tick rate of their servers
4. sounds like you have a bad connection or additional tick rate issues complicating a bad connection
5. You don't have enough audio channels or have your audio configured incorrectly in settings most likely if this is happening often for you
6. Rare since I've never seen it
7. known issue
8. could easily be user error, but sounds like some common limits on the range of certain abilities is hindering you
9. double barrel is the most highly used shotgun in the game for pvp, shotguns aren't very effective due to high armor on npcs
10. The cross bow reticle glows red when you are on target, if its not glowing you are missing your shot.
11. camera movement is impacted by status effects, probably got hit by fire or some other effect and just dont know it.
12. low tick rate servers or bad connection or both
13. riot foam annoys a lot of people, but only the ones who get hit by it and not the ones who shoot the foam men first.
14. Never heard of this, sounds like you are animation cancelling or having connection issues contributing to unstable game results
15. see above
16. see above
If it has no playability, I'm honestly surprised by how many people I see "playing" it.
I've had a 2 or 3 of those things. I can understand the frustration, but you sound petulant when you compare the game to Fallout 76 and Anthem which are simply disastrous. I do agree that Division 2 is in a pretty ordinary state, but the core of the game is sound unlike those other train wrecks.
alot of games have problems, yes, but how many games do well while being so broken?
my connection is just short of 100mbs d/l and 57mbs u/l so thats not an issue
bought a ps4 pro and new tv just for the game so no issues with that either
as you look at what could be wrong the only thing is the game and its servers.
as for the double barrel shottys dont fire straight away, atleast a 3 second gap from pressing the trigger to it actually firing.
