This is just an honest question for any of the Ubi Forum Moderators.
I think I play the Division the way it is meant to be played. I farm, I recal stats if they are truly better... I heard on the last SOTG that 'caps' will no longer be in play for the recalibration so that's kind of a step towards min/maxing builds.
I have a current love/hate relationship with the current loot pool. I am up to my ears in loot, thats a good problem. But at WT5, end game, my character can't really progress by anything more than say 1-3% and the game has kind of stalled out and i'm struggling to build truly diverse kits.... thats a bad problem.
***I should interrupt my own thought by adding a disclaimer, i'm aware the game is not even 3 months old...Im thinking mid to long term***
I really think bringing back optimization min/max potential would really loosen the strings on the loot system in the Division 2 and extend End Game playability. With all the heat being put on the PTS and the Classified Gear sets not having talents and what not, it just feels like Optimization stations would really calm the community down a touch.
I'm a fanboy of this series no question about that, i will continue to play the game in whatever it's current state is. #IsurvivedPatch1point3hree!!
Recal in PTS has a much higher stat cap and no longer increases gear score. There is still a cap, but its huge compared to what it was and you are unlikely to actually hit it unless you rolled some crazy number.Originally Posted by KLEINER540 Go to original post
I agree though, even with this change the recalibration station needs to be usable more often (im looking at you wpn damage and crafted gear/weps) and for multiple stats or talents.
