There were 8 people (some friends, a few not) I play this with and already none of them have played for weeks now.
Gear system is pretty lame, I have to admit. As far as I recall, even Division 1 was more exciting when it came to acquisition of loot.
96% of the loot is straight junk, 3% is maybe useful for saving to maybe use for Recalibration at some point and 1% is a slightly worthwhile upgrade.
There is no real or exciting End Game (clearly not talking about Marvels latest).
Mindlessly clearing out Control points and other filler tasks in the PvE world, is not fun. Gets boring fast.
What are we going to do? Play the same rinse-repeat missions, vs the same boring clone enemies, on modes where simply their hp goes up and damage goes down?
Adding End of Mission stats for players who want to see them, would have given the game a lot more life.
By the time they realise adding this makes sense, it will be way too late. Pre-owned bins will already be full with Division 2 copies...
Only thing on Division 2's side right now is, there aren't really any other big games out now, that I'm aware of.
Well they don't make it fun for me,Originally Posted by MachineHead013 Go to original post
I couldn't care what stats are at the end of a mission all I care about is doing the mission and if it was fun to do, and quite surprisingly they are fun for me without some kind of stat page.
For those who like that kind of thing good on you knock yourselves out over it, for me if I can turn it off when its introduced the better.
From what I've seen it looks like it's an optional readout that can be opened at the end of the mission. Entirely opt-in if you want to ignore it.Originally Posted by Sensible-Jack Go to original post
Thank you that's good to know.Originally Posted by Ubi-RealDude Go to original post
I'd ignore him, doesn't exactly seem like the life and soul of the party. Stats are great, I will definitely be using them in solo or group missions to see how I performed and where and how I can improve. I'm grateful you are bringing them back. But is there a chance to link stats to an offline API to I can track progress and improvement for my character and clan members?Originally Posted by Ubi-RealDude Go to original post
Wow nice, they are actually doing it.Originally Posted by SuspiciousPixel Go to original post
I think the roll out will work well, since the Raid is still to come, so that will hopefully pull some people back in to playing and this will keep them playing beyond the completion of it.
