Some aspects of the OP post are true. The AI do spam their skills with no cool downs. This is really bad with Elite Boss's, drones, RC cars etc. These Elite Boss's should have a skill cool down.
The poison is OP and needs to be adjusted. Probably not a priority as I don't see it often.
Elite sniper dogs are also OP and need adjustment.
The NPC's do charge you, head on, with no regard to their own life, just to run past you and take cover behind you before engaging. It would seem their entire goal is to flank you at all costs. Not really realistic and quite annoying.
NPC's also don't seem to be limited by optimal range/damage fall off. Another oversight I assume.
NPC's also spawn in directly in front of you regardless of where your going. Quite annoying if your trying to get from A to B and want to conserve your ammunition. Even if you zig/zag, the NPC's will still spawn in front of you. On that topic, still seeing instances of NPC's spawning behind you while your engage in firefights. Another cheap BS behavior left over from Div 1 Westside piers.
The same one as you. I don't even get shocked, but maybe once a mission. Your making Mt. Everest out of a non existent ant hill. When they go into cover they are reloading, and yeah they don't just stream drones and cars at you. The heavies with Grenade Launchers will fire off 3 really quick then none for like 30 seconds. Can you imagine how insanely easy the game would be if they had like 2 minute cool downs on stuff like we do?Originally Posted by MetalGod41 Go to original post
They have cool downs. If they didn't you see like 20 RC cars coming at you. You don't so yeah.Originally Posted by I 2phast I Go to original post
The poison eh maybe...
The sniper dogs are you kidding me? You hear them charging up the shot, and their eye glows red. I dunno maybe don't stand out the open when that is happening.
Yes NPCs charge. it's currently a bug where all enemies act like Rushers thinkg you are low on health which they shouldn't do.
Yes NPCs sometimes infitely spawning in a spot as soon as you clear them sucks, but nothing you can't deal with...just slow move them away from that area and when you finish them off you'll be out of range of the next spawn.
This part I agree. When fighting with npc/AI, they do not seem to have a range limitation as to how far the bomber npc can throw at a agent and that can say the same for agent where they can use the head-shot snipers and aim it down at the npc, but will miss the shot because of how far an ammo can go/reach.I think both side should have equal range as to how far they can throw or shoot a snipers in order to hit one another.NPC's also don't seem to be limited by optimal range/damage fall off. Another oversight I assume.
This part happens too often when playing challenge mode and until the agent dmg is strong enough, there is no way to kill the npc. I had encounter that the npc would run up to you whether they are shooting you while doing that or just run past by the agent and then hide and then start shooting. I have also notices that npc also get out of their hidden spot and just stand there shooting at the agent with their armor barely make a dent while an agent shooting at them from cover. I call that a bulletsponge. The NPC's do charge you, head on, with no regard to their own life, just to run past you and take cover behind you before engaging. It would seem their entire goal is to flank you at all costs. Not really realistic and quite annoying.
also, what is up with npc running a lot faster than an agent while dodging bullet and not get hit? if an agent does that, we be dead for being out of cover.
The elites don't have any skill cool downs, watched a elite launch drones approx. three seconds apart. Guess you could call that a cool down, but it should be more like 2 minutes apart. Same for RC cars, but its more like 7 seconds apart.Originally Posted by Kinslayer1447 Go to original post
Sniper dogs are OP. I am very well aware of how to avoid their shots, but that assumes your looking at the dog or engaging the dog, there are other NPC's you have to engage as well and avoiding the sniper dog is not always possible. Don't assume I stand out in the open, I run Patience as one of my talents, so have to be in cover pretty much all the time.
in WT5 stick your head out of cover and sniper dog will almost certainly get you. The latency between pressing fire button and actual firing is insane. In that time I get shot by NPC. I did control point alert level 4 and this yellow NPC sniper ALWAYS landed a shot before I could even fire...not funny.
Only NPC that I have seen abuse their unique skills, is the name boss's that has the exploding car bombs. She plants and sends another one just as you kill it or it blows up on you.. its an endless run of cars coming at you. And sometimes the sound gllitches/ doesnt work and you dont hear them anymore (They become ninja IEDs, pain the ***). Other than that, NPCs do reload. If you turn your sound back on, you sometimes hear them shout they are reloading. They like to let you know what they are doing, like in japanese anime when they shout their skills and trump cards for everyone to hear.
