For the investigation of this issue, could you please submit your MSINFO and dxdiag files on a ticket, and include a screenshot of what you can see? Please also include when you noticed this starting for you.

No screenshot required. The tab's field blanks out... as mentioned here:

Same... as of the 90MB update... versus the typical 27MB.

It also affects the changing Featured tab (ie. currently "Racing Week Sale") immediately after "Store".

How to get the store to render (workaround)

After a largish update, was required to log in again and bam ... the store loads very briefly then disappears. Not just the store items but even the search box and store submenu.

If I click on the Home icon, I can get it to attempt to reload, but it disappears again.

WORKAROUND - Click on the resize window icon in the top right and start reducing your window width until it stably renders. NOTE: Any resizing event could cause it to disappear again, even if the actual size doesn't change. There's no "right" size for the window, it seems to be a roll of the dice.

If this is an electron app, I'd say you have some rogue CSS race-condition happening. Good luck.

ok thanks, workaround works, BUT I don't want to do this, as I always use fullscreen mode. My workaround is better, I will not buy anything from store until it is working properly

I knew about the workaround from the other recent threads. I chose your same workaround. I also think it's better.

I was going to suggest to them to roll back their update, and hand the coder(s) of the recent update their two weeks notice, but it doesn't affect me, so I'll let them decide their remedial measure...

I have the same issue since several weeks now, it seems that ubisoft don't want to sell games anymore ^^ When a company has too much money...

"WORKAROUND - Click on the resize window icon in the top right and start reducing your window width until it stably renders. Maximizing the window is working, i can see the store again. But when i click on something the whole store disappears again. So i'm not able to use/buy anything from the store!

Yes, but various subsequent actions have been posted that cause it to disappear again.

Ultimately it would come down to this... given it's instability... would you even consider making a -- susceptible -- transfer of funds?

Hey guys! For reference, what resolution are your monitors? Resizing the client appears to resolve the issue for most players. But for the sake of reporting this issue, can you provide what resolution your monitor is? I feel like it may be related to larger sized monitors.

    4K.

Sailor, the resizing (ie. maximizing) remedial measure is highly unreliable. As stated in a number of posts, various subsequent actions (ie. unmaximizing) cause the selected field (ie. Store) to blank out again. The issue is definitely inherent to the latest UPlay client update (90MB).

Periodically, Uplay client updates cause autonomous Uplay client unmaximized window resizing upon starting/quitting specific games. GRW is notorious for this. It's really annoying when you have customized desktop window settings (ie. dimensions), and some lines of conflicting errant coding chronically mess up your party. Fortunately, in that regard, for the past few Uplay updates, this issue has been in remission.

As an aside, I also assume that the Paris coders never shut down their machines… I was perplexed why on my system startup, several windows of my web browser would pop up. When I disabled the browser start on system startup (subsequently determined to be an Ubi forced setting), I noticed that none of my Ubi games' desktop icons would load, inferring the cause... errant Ubi coding. I have never seen the desktop icons change in any way, so why it would be coded to repeatedly download the icons from a Ubi server, as opposed to store them natively in their respective game directories, is beyond my comprehension.

Back to your last statement, I think it's the reverse (ie. exceeded buffer). When I saw the latest 90MB Uplay client update initiate, as opposed to the typical 27MB, I considered two possibilities:
    1. Massive client overhaul
    2. Data files (media)

Since the client's appearance and/or functioning remains unchanged, this suggests the latter (ie. promo material for the final GRW: Oracle update on May 2nd).
