For craps and giggles I put together a 200k armor, 100k health assault rifle build that does 1mil DPS to non-elites. Go into Conflict and it takes a full mag to down someone. Before I can reload and finish him off, the rest of his team kills me during the reload. Oh and after waiting for everyone to matchmake, two people from my team drop off so it's 2v4. 2 more people join, see the score (11-15) and quit so we finish the rest of the match 2v4. It's literally impossible to kill someone at full armor/health without reloading/switching guns and running up to melee them is F-ing insane when it's 2v4.
It takes a lot of talent to chicken dance over the healing chem launcher </sarcasm>. What a load of BS. Is that what PvP is supposed to be? A bunch of players chicken dancing over chem launcher heals with defender/repair drones flying overhead? No F-ing thank you.
Enjoy this broken POS game. If you think it's about $60 then you've missed the point completely. I've INVESTED 400+ hours to get gear and make multiple builds. The builds that work are getting nerfed and the other builds aren't viable. I'm out.
I am sorry to say, but...
I got bored with Division 2 as well. Don't get me wrong, I love Division 2 as much as to those that love playing Division 2, but it gotten boring now. Most of the time was to just grind for gears or do a little weekly project and then I am out, because there are nothing else to do.
Yes, the invaded per week, but only the strongholds and invaded part, not Tidal Basin since that is just very pointless and boring, don't really care the long range of fights just to get to the boss, but it doesn't drop any good as to like those other ones. Right now I am going in there just to try and get nemises blueprint and try the sniper out and maybe get bored out of it and loose interest until the raid comes and then who knows... it might get bored after doing it over and over for the gears that already been built.
Come to think of it, I miss Division 1 as I have not step foot in there to see what is going on, but scared and worries where it is dead in there too.
The game need more missions, like Ghost Recon Wildland with a wide landscape, missions all spreaded out and have to get to place by plane or cars, runs if need be (doubted that ever happen). world map need to spread out honestly, its too close to each other and easy to get there and complete the missions.
but as of right now, I am sorry to say, but Division 2 is getting boring fast even thought I love Division 2.
Another thread on pretty much the same subject, and yeah... It did get boring fast. I talk about my views as to why here:

For me the issue is there is nothing to grind for, where are the rare exotic weapons AND exotic armour to grind for. Plus build diversity is non existent among many other things that just make me not thay keen to play. I had 1700+ hrs in the first game, but i just dont feel like playing.
Its a beautiful world and there is still plenty of potential, but there is a reason people have stopped playing in droves. I mean Gear Sets are sooo underwhelming and skills are horrible compared to 1.
This I totally agree with, I've played around 400 hours and cant get my DPS over 1,4 mil no matter what. .My WT4/450 gear was better sadly. Together with no risk vs. reward you cant even find a group for heroic, 1 extra gear piece is just not enough incentive for people to farm it,Originally Posted by DuffmanOOOHYA Go to original post
I had around 10 people on my friends list that I used to play with, I'm the last man standing... Noone is even logging in for weeklies/dailies..
Tis a bit boring now
factor in many issues and I can't see the flame burning too much longer.... tho I know it will become interesting when more gear sets and exotics drop, then the extra mission content and maybe even a complete rework of the DZ in year 2 or 3.
The DZ will keep the game alive if they get the mix right, like someone else mentioned in an idea about linking the DZ's with an underground tunnel system. That could be very easily added![]()
Smh. Just out of curiosity, how many hours do the people crying about being bored have in the game? Saw 1 guy with 400 hrs. That's a lot of time to put into a game. Especially a game thats not even 2 months old. I'm betting everyone here put in about the same. Now....think about how many hours you put in the first game over the course of 3 friggin yrs and compare the 2. Let that sink in a bit before you go acting like a bunch of babies crying about being bored and having nothing left to do because you put in a crap ton of hours into this game. I get it, the game is good...real good. Couldn't put it down. But it's your own fault that you ate your ice cream too fast and got brain freeze. Get what I'm saying. Relax people. Smh
NOt really seeing your point in comparing TD1 to TD2. Are you ?Originally Posted by o ASYLUM o Go to original post
That actually doesn't hold water, yes, I have a ton of hours played, but that is far from unusual. My wife and I play online games almost daily while still interested in them, we played EQ for something like 9 years if I recall, with a few breaks to try other games that came along. Most of those other games either didn't cut it and were taken offline, or still exist for some reason as a desolate wasteland, with a mere smattering of players.Originally Posted by o ASYLUM o Go to original post
In today's online gaming world, players should not lose focus, see no point, become bored and move on so quickly. There should be goals to work towards and reach that take months or years, not weeks. There should be ways to reach them, that isn't just another roll of the 10 million sided dice. Having a 1/100,000,000 chance of getting the piece of gear you want (x9) is not a goal...
The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. ~Albert Einstein.
Currently the loot system here is the definition of insanity and is driving people away. If I knew that by doing X, Y times I would receive item Z, I would continue to do it. I even mucked around on the PTS to see if I could put together numerous optimized builds. I opened over 500 FP Caches that all dropped GS 500 loot, and I did not see a single piece that I could say "Wow, that is a awesome piece of gear!", they all had two or more things wrong with them, for what I was looking to achieve. Every one of them was a compromise. Should I suspect what I wanted would be in one of the next 500 FP Caches or the 500 after that, or the next? At what point does a thing become quite apparently futile? My idea of fun is not having to compromise on everything, I would like to be able to at one point say, damn, that's exactly what I was looking for, then try it again with another character and different build.
That is why people are complaining, among other reasons, not because they have 300+ hours played.
