    Division 2 got boring fast

I spent the last few weeks exclusively farming for gear that has high attributes for the upcoming patch. 99% of the stuff I got was sold/scrapped.

I have a 450 gear score chest piece that has 21.5% headshot damage. In 100+ hours of farming, the next best piece I got for head shot damage was 18% on a 500 GS item.

Same is true for all weapon damage. I have a GS 465 chest piece that does 15%. Everything I pick up now doesn't exceed 11%.

Armor drops continue to have awful rolls where 2 recalibrations would be needed to make it serviceable, same with backpacks.

Bezerker is about to get nerfed big time, so is strained and a whole bunch of other talents that make any build viable. I tried playing on a vanilla build that wouldn't get nerfed. It was so tedious and boring I'm ready to start playing something else.

Congratulations to the developers for screwing up a game with huge potential. The gear, recalibration and optimization in D1 was perfect the way it was designed. Rather than expand on that, you've created a boring game with limited builds that are going to get nerfed.

What's the logic here? Do you want players dumping mag after mag into wave after wave of the same predictable enemies and call that entertainment? It's masturbation without the payoff. D1 might have had OP classified gear sets but at least it changed the way the game was played and made it challenging and rewarding to master each playstyle. You beat OP builds by creating more OP builds, not nerfing anything that could be OP into the boring mess the game has become.

PvP is a disgusting mess. It's a chicken dancing and numbers game. Tactics don't really matter when all a team has to do is turn around and start shooting at you in greater numbers even though you got the drop on them, or run around and chicken dance with each other like a bunch of morons.

There's a reason why PvP is so stagnant and hated in this game. I tried conflict and it takes about half as long to matchmake as it does to play the match itself. Can't imagine it'll get better anytime soon when good gear is non-existent and the game becoming more mundane with all the limitations in gear modification and builds.

PvP was not much better in d1. People wanted a so called "looted shooter" and to ubisofts credit they delivered it and now people realize how incredibly lame and shallow it is

PVP could be worse... you could have leap and everyone could just be jumping around like demented frogs as in most pvp games.

Only positive is it was going so well up to wt5.. then they lost all fun and there was no real good loot or end game. It did last 3 times longer to get to the not playing stage compared to anthem

Too much rinse and repeat for me. I was enjoying playing open world but now ive done everything so many times its just not interesting. Unless im initiating vast CP4 fights, in the pooring rain or fog, it just feels like you are going through the motions.

It has become boring. Looting for gear is to hard - not from a getting loot part but from there being such a vast array of loot (literarly thousands of permutations) that getting what you need isnt probable. Even looting to try out different builds isnt really achievable at the moment so whats the point? the juise isnt worth the squeeze.

I leveled another character to 30. Not leveling it to World Tiers though. Dont see the point at the moment.

Now messing about with pistol and shield because its something new to do and only slightly less tedius than everything else.

I think we need a new faction. How does 'The Pandas' sound?

So you played for a few weeks. Say 2 hours per day. 28 hours for a 60$. 2.14$ per hour.

    Think this is fair

People complain about 60$ game. But spending 60$ for a movie/drink/snacks is about the same, for 2-3 hours

    Hmmm

I was looking for End Game tickets, one of the theaters closest to me is across from Ground Zero... $21/ticket... I can see how 2 tix and some snacks could add up to that. Also that's why I rarely go to the movies in the city lol
