Very efficient way to kill the game

Massive devs either listen or your game is dead.

The new gear sets suck. The old gear sets suck. You're breaking everyone's builds with the pts patch. Skills are completely unbalanced to the point where like 75%of them are never used, yet you're not worried about it. One of the new sets even focuses on one of those worthless skills nobody usesulse. Oh and it's tied to specialization ammo use so even more worthless.

What will happen is you will continue to nerf talents/guns and change attribute requirements until the poor souls hoping for a somewhat good game eventually leave themselves.

There is ZERO reason to play your game right now, a little over a month after release. That in itself is pathetic. What's even more pathetic is the ubi employees asking ridiculous questions like "why aren't the sets good? Why isnt the worthless shotgun passive bonus good? Why is this worthless skill bad?" And every answer gets ignored. People told you why the old 3 gear sets were garbage. You make 3 more garbage ones.

At this point you need to seriously stop and redesign very vital parts of your game and stop pushing out broken or knee jerk changes. To anybody that is hopeful the game will get better:it will not any time soon. And I guarantee the raid will be broken and exploited. Again I would like to state Sony will give out one courtesy refund per PSN account if you want your money back for this dumpster fire.

Aces an eights is a 33 percent dps buff for the entire group. Gear sets are meant as a support role with probably only 2 per raid for maximum efficiency. Stop crying about everything. Quit the game if you dont like it. Of course right now theres no reason to play as it's a gear limbo like alot of games have. You wouldnt survive playing WoW in between raids jesus christ.

I did quit. With many others. I've also played many mmos with raids that werent baby mode easy like wow. I also played a lot of d1. If you think a 33%damage buff on a gamble talent requiring 6 pieces and a specific gun type to trigger is "good" then you are just beyond hope I'm afraid. Enjoy your dumpster fire

Actually it's a CHANCE at a 33% damage buff. And it can only happen every 10 seconds IF it proc's back to back.
And those numbers are getting changed.

Considering they a clearly designed for team-play, having that proc even once in an eight person party will be pretty devastating. If in that eight three others are also wearing gear sets that compliment team-play then I see that eight being exceptionally strong. But the question is: Is the Division 2 Community interested in team-play?

I am still wondering if the set bonuses will be worth it over the raw DPS you will lose. Meaning, 8 players with min/max DPS build vs 6 players min/max DPS builds + 2 support builds (just thinking 2 supports will be enough). As the game sits right now, in a 4 man team, its TOTALLY NOT worth it. Now, does this mean it will be worthless in 8man? Maybe, maybe not....we will see. At its current state, I do not believe it will be worth the loss of DPS, unless Massive throws some kind of curve ball in the 8man that requires this.

Honestly, this game armors sets are kinda broken right now. I do not see this getting better with the next patch where everyone will be nerfed, however, the nerf to the NPC (armor and damage) may offset this a little.

Does the game suck? No, visually this is one of the best games I have ever seen...it does need some major work on the gear and bonuses though. I think we can all agree on that. This game lacks balance really.

This is just my personal opinion, take it with a grain of salt.

So only one player in the team needs that aces full set and if it procs the entire team gets the 30% dmg buff? That seems pretty good. Means only one of us will need to have the 6 piece equipped.

One gear set provides a dmg buff to the entire raid...wow whoopy. And you think it's ok to only have 2 gear set wearers (out of 8nin raid) and out of 6 sets in the game is a good thing?

The current gear sets are garbage. The new ones may prove to be slightly better.

You say they are garbage, but have you put together a four person party with gear sets (and I don't mean just thrown on, but actually built around the sets) and run any of the higher difficulty content? I see a lot of people saying they are crap while I have never seen them in use in matchmaking outside of using two piece damage boosts.

It will be devastating for that 10 second period I agree.
Obviously testing is required to see the full potential, but on paper, to me, it still seems lackluster.
