    does RNG just hate me???

it took forever for me to complete the hardwired project (at least 10 runs through each mission) and after completing it i cannot get the tech to drop again to craft the gear, in the time it takes for me to get one piece of tech my friends have dropped 4-5 on average (group runs) and when i finally do get a piece the crafted item never exceeds 470 Gs (on several occasions i have gotten 450-455). Now most of my friends have stopped playing i just don't see the point of soloing all the missions for the infinitesimal chance of a tech drop especially when the resulting gear will be less than useless after crafting.

The best place for the tech to drop that I've seen is on the streets from killing Black Tusks.

I didn't even read your post...yes, rng hates you. Now go back to d.c. and do more laps for what ever you're looking for.

    ROFL, spot on!

But yeah, IMHO the game should somehow offer alternative methods of achieving a desired goal, whatever that may be. Spending in-game E-Credits, turning in X-million shotguns, or maybe a chit system where when you don't get a drop you want, you collect a chit, and can turn X-number of those into the "exotic vendor" to purchase the part you have been farming for but never drops. I am all about camping, I have literally spent weeks camping items in MMO's back in the day, but over time many of them implemented something long these lines, at least for certain things, so you know that at some point you will get what you want, regardless of how the RNG gods feel about you.

Alternatively, many games also offer a market/bazaar, so if all else fails you can grind out and spend a million e-credits to buy that item you want from another player who has an extra. Any way you cut it, the player has a goal and a way to reach it if they put in the time, which is one of the main things that keeps people playing and not leaving out of the pure frustration of dealing with 100% randomness.

Yes RNG hates just you, for the rest of us it's all sunshine and lollipops. You must have run over rng's dog or something because rng is handing out tech like candy at Halloween

No really tech is a ***** to get, do world activities that are black tusk or just run around the world killing tusk patrols it's faster than running black tusk missions.

Im maxed out on something with the tech drops. I can't pick anymore up, so thats usually my cue to figure out what it is.

I mean this in the nicest way, but slot machines aren't designed to reward you. They're designed to give you just enough to keep you pulling the lever.

How can you tell if RNG is broken or off? You can't... I'm not playing that mini-game.
