    How does skill power work??

Bit of a stupid question and I’m sure this has already been asked and answered on here I just can’t find it.

I’ve been playing thinking that having a higher skill power rating would give me better attributes for my skills. For example I use a Reviver Hive, I thought if I had a higher skill power rating then maybe the radius I can heal teammates would be bigger than if I had low skill power rating?

Or if I use a Turret it would deal more damage to enemies if I had higher skill rating compared to a lower rating??

I’ve read a few things on this but just need some clarification?

skill power does nothing it is score you have to meet in order to equip mods and thats it.
think of it as a driving licence you cant drive till you hit that age and going any older doesnt on its own improve your driving its just a requirement you have to meet.

Thanks mate, just me that thinks that’s a bit stupid haha? Surely a higher skill power should give you better attributes? I know the mods do give little boosts but still

See the number of skill power as a benchmark, the higher the score (of skill power), the higher the mods (in number) you can use.
