Well only 80% blind in one eye, and no, this isn't a serious post about nerfing.
But what this is about, is being able to upgrade my gear (sorry the title tricked you!). The randomness and rarity of decent drops is too much. People play to feel powerful, to the best of their abilities with their particular playstyle. Yes, some folks will "meta" the game and copy the tubers, but many of us find that boring and achieve great enjoyment and fun from trying different things for ourselves. I would very much like to be able to try numerous different builds, all of which are somewhat optimized based on the amount of hours I have played and how I enjoy playing. To date (250+ hours) I have yet to achieve a single "awesome" build. The upgrades are few and far between and when I do get one, it's barely incremental. I would very much like to see much better drops and rate of them, so I can really play around, test builds, have fun and figure out what suits me best. Getting 750 pieces of garbage doesn't make for a good "looter" game.
Currently, my inventory and stash are completely dedicated to holding minor upgrades to my current build, in hopes that one day, that one "key" piece of gear will drop, that I can move a god attribute I saved into and finally have 1/6th of my build completed.
And back to my post title, any chance I can achieve this before I pass away without having to rely on the gods of RNG (which seem to hate me)?
I have actually started playing the PTS just so I can see what might be possible. End result... I am having a great deal of fun there for now, but feel really inferior on live, Seriously, I was able to pretty much double everything, and still can't hit the DPS numbers others talk about. I can definitely see though, how someone with really lucky drops and skills can feel the game is a cake walk with the recent NPC nerfs.Originally Posted by teksuo1 Go to original post

Hahaha, cancelled my FB account 7 years ago and don't even know what buzz feed is. Just trying to bring attention to the lack of decent loot is all, no ulterior motives.Originally Posted by Nehelem Go to original post

Gonna ignore the clickbait troll title
I have to agree with the poster about the frequency of good loot drops.
We all like those high-end gear and we love em if its particularly useful, no doubt. But it should be kind of an achievement to finally finish your "set" or "build" and thats not the case in TD2. Half an hour after I unlock a new world tier I m running around with max gearscore again. Sure its not a build or as effective as my last one but why bother when even with such a ragdoll state I can unlock the next stronghold without problems and restart the cycle.
Which basically means TD2 doesnt deserve a time investment until you hit WT5 and for me thats a shame.
In the first part going through the world tiers was an achievement. Finding your first high end item at cap gearscore was "special". Yes, it took you more time and it was also harder (self healing is ridiculously overpowered in the sequel) and getting your first few setpieces drastically altered your game experience.
All this is absent in The Division 2. Its a loot shower and you simply pick out the best pieces. 5 minutes in you dont get giddy with spotting a high-end drop anymore because it happens so often and because randomization is so over the top that you have a high chance its vendor trash anyway.
Right now the game is "pushing" me through to WT5 which is a shame. I had planned to take my time and look around but I purposefully have to put in the brakes in order to avoid advancing a WT. And doing so is a pure waste of time on my part. I can explore and look around at WT5 as well. Not sure why Ubisoft kept the World Tiers in at all when its so easy to jump the first 4. IMO TD2 is better in some ways but at the same time "lost" a few things along the way. Not sure if its a good trade, but its the one we have.
oh and @Sxcit3 guess you didnt read the OP or think before you write. It was a troll title. You should work on your knee-jerk reactions mate,
