    Current update 3 PTS patch notes... mixed feelings

    So for those that haven't seen them yet head over to https://tomclancy-thedivision.ubisof...2-begins-today

    I have really mixed feelings about these changes... some I really like and others well... they outright suck. However I am hoping to be surprised when this does hit.

    The good:

    • Like the crafting changes
    • Like the loot changes (especially more ammo drops)
    • Re-calibration changes
    • Defender drone change
    • Vendor changes
    • Exotic dmg buffs (thank you thank you thank you thank you...)
    • DZ bracket changes (although this does stink of DZ being a dead zone knee jerk reaction)
    • Gearset changes - looks to be bringing them more in line with being somewhat useful.


    The bad:
    • You seriously did not need to reduce solo difficulty on either mission, once you get above GS 480 they are literally walk through for 90% of it. Do not put this change through.
    • Decreasing AI dmg for Veteran, Elite and named, at this point your literally wanting the players that spent time building up their gear to pick up random crap and use that as way to force a challenging mode. Please stop nerfing the AI dmg your removing all difficulty for the top end players.
    • DZ Rogue timer change, way to cater to the more ahole griefer element of some Rogue players and alienate more of the players that don't go to the DZ. I'm not against PvP I'm just against griefers.


    The indifferent:
    • NPC pulse grenade change, not really sure if I care about this or not. I liked the fact it forced you to not rely on skills.
    • Reward changes, not sure if I like these or not but the BP changes are welcome
    • Reinforcer Chem launcher change, why remove the stack ability? You just gimped any person wanting to even attempt to play a medic type build.
    • DZ Changes (other than Rogue timer change and brackets)


    I really don't know what to think overall on the gear talent changes for PvE/PvP... it just seems like your trying to make PvE ridiculously easy so the buffs might be a bit too much in some instances. Just have to wait and see on those.

    Really hope some of these don't make it to live.

    They have buffed armour and health by double, so it seems we will be twice as tough but much weaker damage wise. As it is now with the live version NPC's I don't think this will work well on challenging at all, players are already speed running through them, double the armour and no cover will be needed at all.
    It may help heroic stuff though will have to see how hard it is the kill someone, currently I think heroic is pretty much spot on.

    They should just take all the heroic stuff and minus so much for challenge then so much for hard and so on. Is it as simple as that??

    I’m pleased with the EMP thing. There are way too many anti skill mechanics in the game, it unfairly punishes skill builds just for existing.

    The reinforcer CL change doesn’t stop healers, I heal fairly often and I have +90% healing on my CL, I pretty much never need to stack puddles. All it does is prevent DPS from being able to heal themselves as effectively.

    As for the sets, I’m glad they replaced shock duration with skill damage on Hardwired, but it’s still garbage compared to a halfway decent CDR build. They need to do a lot more work to it if they want people to actually use it.

    A whole bunch of PvE talents got buffed up on the amount they return, yes they decreased timings on some e.g.

    Blacksmith increased Armor repair from 25% to 50%. - yeah so it got a 1/3rd in crease in time but it got a 100% buff to the amount it returns.
    Bloodlust Increased granted Weapon Damage from 25% to 35% and decreased duration from 10 seconds to 5 seconds, dmg output buffed but time reduced. At the rate stuff dies this will basically always be up.
    Bloodsucker - Depleting an enemy's armor adds a stack of +25% bonus armor for 10s. Max stack is 6. (was 20%, 20s, 5). Again more returned armor for a shorter period, at the rate stuff dies I'll take more armor over longer time thanks. better for peeking, better for anyone running high armor or armor repair builds.

    Patience, Clutch health returned, Entrenched, Kneecap, Spotter, Preservation. All got increases for the most part.

    Yes, thank you for bringing up chem launcher, I actually wanted to be a medic type for a raid,

    if they take out this feature,
    every man for himself on healing or everyone just carry a revive hive since they gonna fix it.

    patience going from 9 defensive to 6 from the previous PTS patch notes is a huge change IMO.

    not sure if bloodlust is really a buff, they gave you 10%more dmg but the time to use it is cut in half. Anyway the more useful skills that i think most people used are unstoppable and berserk, these have een destroyed, especially unstoppable. if they changed it to 15000 it may not have been so bad. My boost will go from 50% to about 15

    Well you know what happens when you assume right, makes an "***" out of "u" and "me"
    You for making the wrong assumption in the first place, showing you don't actually read entire posts before making poor judgements, and somehow felt the world had to know it.
    Me for assuming the community could grow beyond the PvP vs PvE BS that we had in Division 1 forums, and people were able to read entire posts.

    I am PvP and PvE player, I just think there are a few players that go rogue simply to troll/annoy other players and no other reason. Removing the timer would just increase this.
