So when the game launched, I would play for the majority of the day when I could during the week but overtime I noticed that fatigue would hit me sooner and sooner so that I had to take more and more breaks.
Eventually, what started as fatigue turned into severe eyestrain and then later, terrible migraine headaches.
Let me just explain that I'm no stranger to eyestrain when playing games but I have a system I employ whenever I start a new game of adjusting the in-game graphic settings as well as my TV's settings so that I can keep the eyestrain to a minimum. I also change the settings according to the time of the day as well.
Never in my ~35 years of gaming have I experienced the severity and frequency of headaches as I have playing The Division 2. 2000 hours in The Division 1....No Problem.
It was so bad that, at one point, I could not last 10 minutes, that is, until I found out about the Neutral Lighting option.
Problem Solved? Not quite. You see, Neutral Lighting doesn't seem to affect the intro screens, loading screens, and the Megamap. There is also a bug that whenever you log out, it will take you out of that mode even though it is still selected as "On" in the Graphics Settings. Every time you log in, you need to select "Off" then go back to "On" for the mode to be enabled again.
Did I mention how night-time is a nightmare in Neutral mode? We're talking pitch black in certain areas.
Please let neutral lighting affect everything including the loading screens and Megamap so I don't have to look away everytime they appear.
I am starting to think that I should just quit because if I can't last at least a couple of hours then what's the purpose since progression requires a lot of time in these sorts of grindy games.
