What turns a chunk of your armor blue in the dz?

I asked this before. Why when I'm in the dz i get huge kick back with armor regeneration that seems to turn blue but in a mission its not happening? I was told blue on the armor bar is potential armor kick back, but whats it from?

Oh, you may have just explained it for me, I see it too, but only in the LZ. I do have the reload talent that buffs, that is probably what it is.

Are you using a different build?
Talents like Patience and Protected reload give back armor hence the blue colour.

blue armor is from any temporary armor buff, eg protected reload talent on 3rd slot in weapons, give +10% armor when reloading
this 10% is shown in blue and will diappear when shot or when your done reloading
other sources i can think of are, protected deploy, for skills, and bloodsucker, after depleting enemie armor

just look through your DZ gear and try to find any temporary armor talents like these
if that aint it i cant help you

Sharpshooter specialization also gives you the bonus armor in cover perk

dont tell everyone (lol ) but you can abuse protected reload's bonus armor.
while reloading interrupt the reload with a melee attack and BOOM, the bonus armor sticks even after the reload.

it vanishes when you reload again though.

hopefully its a bug and will be fixed soon as it can be abused to engage combat with more armor than you should have.
