Why do the top ranked in teams still, to this day, have to be about who donated the most cards? There are lots of variables now and teams are much more components of teams to consider when ranking players.

These are a few key features to keep in mind:
1. Time online
2. # of matches played
3. Cards donated
4. Event points earned
5. Friendly matches played
6. Talking in team chat
7. Team battles - Amount of bottlecaps earned, voting done, matches played, matches won

Calculating a team score seems like a much fairer way to rank team members, and motivate players to do things they wouldn't otherwise do. Atm, the motivation to donate cards is basically left to being on the top of your team. Well that doesn't really mean a whole lot. That just means you have the most time online (probably using an emulator) as most people this late game are able to donate virtually every asked card.

There should either be multiple team top lists with an overall best team player list, OR just an overall best team top player list with all features I posted above taken into account when calculating the team score.

Good point, donating is overshadowed by other parameters that can really show your member's worth.

I think this is an interesting point to raise and I will raise it with our team as soon as I can. I don't think there are any plans to change this particular section of the game right now, but it's absolutely worth a look for the future!
