I desperately need help to get better. When i first unlocked the extreme tracks i thought it would be impossible to get all gold but thanks to fat shady i have all gold except for inferno 5. Its really kicking my a$$. Im getting better every day but the only problem is fat shady's lessons only cover extreme. (fat shady needs his own DLC) i really want/need to learn ninja techniques. If anyone is out there willing to teach i am willing to learn. Im missing out on to many tracks on TC. There is only one video teaching ninja techniques on YT i seen years ago on fusion by vagastrash01 and does a great job explaining each technique. It really helped me back then. Now that i think of it im going to watch it after this and refresh my memory (been 5 years). I think its still relevant even though the bikes are completely different. the technique is still the same right? Ideally im looking for someone better then me to add on PS4 and try custom tracks and ninja on private multi player. Im a chil guy in Canada in my 30s that gets baked crush beers and play a sh1t tone of trials. So if you think we would get along then add me on ps4 user name bmxninja. I have to admit it stings a little asking for help to become a ninja when my name is bmxninja lol.
Hey!
I'm not on PC so i won't be able to help you out with the private multiplayer thing, but i can give you some guidelines:
i don't know of any serious ninja tutorials on youtube, but there are a couple of channels that upload a lot of ninja tracks with low faults. if they have the controller UI on you can see what they are doing and figure out for yourself.
I know Raon GT4 and Kevinnummer1, if you watch a couple of their vids the others will just show up in the sidebar.
little spoiler you probably know about if you watch the university of trials channel:
Spoiler: Show
furthermore i would recommend trying Inferno V with the helium, it's a lot more consistent that way.
for ninja tracks: it's up to you which bike you select. if you want it to be a little easier, get the helium. if you want it to be slightly harder, but invest in your future skills, use the mantis. a lot of more difficult ninja tracks only allow the mantis.
if you want to learn about techniques you can also search TC for "training" with the filter set to ninja tracks. they often have little guides in place that help you with solving some obstacles.
And most importantly: practice, practice, and practice some more. the only way to improve is to not only understand the mechanics of the bike, but also make the techniques feel natural.
I would also recommend to stay away from ninja tracks a bit until you can consistently get a gold medal on most extremes without a guide, because the difficulty jump is huge, and ninja tracks require a whole new skill set on top of bike control. for reference: i have all career tracks platinum, except for Inferno V and the DLC extremes (i haven't grinded the DLC extremes yet) and it took me a long time to complete even the easiest ninja tracks at first. now i can only complete ninja level 1-3 without timing out (most of the time) and above that im often not able to complete them at all.
good luck!
