I know they haven’t given up on it but a lot of issues was in the closed beta and it’s as if they didn’t even test the game at all from the start like imagine yeah you’ve played trials for a long time so you know what to expect from a trials game and you get the chance to review it
You look at track central it’s a mess
You’d wonder why there’s frame drops
You wonder why your gear is duplicating and deleting like surely they was aware of these issues and many more way before release surely
And an open beta a week before the game I felt like that was to give new people a demo of the game and call it beta because what we tested on the open wasn’t much different from the closed
I will still play and build, but the bugs that keep happening, and new ones that appear even after they patch things doesn't make the playerbase any bigger but smaller.
Multiplayer eventually "died" on Fusion PC , taking out a large part of the game.
But right now the no-crates and no-coins bugs really take out any interest of playing single player as well.
Not to mention cosmetic bugs like item resetting on launch, or no challengers on the map for nearly 2 months for me.
The strangest thing to me :
1st week of the game, many of those issues weren't even there, I got my crates, coins, and gear worked as intended, challengers were on my map.
Right now I really hope the core bugs are fixed before their next DLC.
Rising Editor still has a lot of potential, it's not going to be 100% Fusion/Evo/HD/Blood Dragon content, as some items are missing or seed buildings are partly broken, but the resize and decal system still are huge positives to keep building for this game instead of others.
Love it, play almost daily doing contracts, improving times or checking the track central. I don't really have major/game-breaking issues which is a good thing i guess. But yeah, bugs are there and it's worrying that we're getting used to them instead of hoping for a fix.
Crates not being given out randomly is sadly still a thing and probably one of the most known issues that everyone seems to be having.
Probably my most important issues have to do with the track central. The broken favorites, where it always shows only 50 of them. I check them daily and must have added to favorites over 200 of them, but i cannot see them. I use the upvoted tab to find them until it gets fixed, but yeah still waiting. Oh i also don't like at all how we still can't remove tracks from Play Later the same way we added them, seemed easy enough fix to my eyes, but sadly it's not there so the Play Later tab is always kinda messy.
Regarding multiplayer, i wanted to play more, but the system giving or taking points so randomly makes it not fun. I don't mind easier tracks, since the first tiers should be these tracks and these only. It's just with how the system is, the majority of players are stuck at gold tier playing mostly easy/medium and rarely some hards. Fixing the system will allow good players to rise in the ranks so they play harder tracks, but yeah waiting on this one too. They should've labeled this as a pre-season, not the actual season one, until they tweak the system and fix the most important issues surrounding this game.
I really love the game. Like someone said above this is a true sequel to Evo. It just has some not so minor issues that urgently need sorting out. If the game receives the long term support it deserves, I can easily see this being the best Trials game hands down in a year or so. I just hope we still have a playerbase at that time. I’ll be sticking with the game, it has been nice having a Trials game I enjoy again.
The creativeness of the tracks in this game are mind blowing so feelings are likewise apart from the "waiting a year for a game to be fixed" bit ... I feel if that happens the only players that will be left will be the HC players & then ure in the same situ as the last 2 games where it slowly dies because people are playing other games that have come out in the mean time that "just work as described " & have good MP playability.Originally Posted by D2Dahaka Go to original post
This happened to me with Fusion - A lot of random Trials friends kept telling me to try rocket league & it actually took over as my main game once id rinsed the SP - I didn't really touch TC & didn't bother coming back when they released MP... My random trials friends list used to have 27 other players on it ( 5 of whom were actual friends ) now i have 15, 1 who is a real friend ....
In today's cut throat world of gaming, if u don't release a game that works ... u get c**p & a load of bad press that travels easy ..... but if u release a patch that screws it even more & don't support ure product properly afterwards(e.g. Never any "RedLynx Suggested" on TC atm) ... u may as well bin ure future sales projections all together as no fix it going to be good enough for those players that have moved on already.
As to it being a sequel to Evo.... Dude ... the game is EVO .... its the same engine as Evo u can tell a mile off its got the same bugs that never got fixed in Evo, just a bit worse xD .... all that's happened over the years is they've added a more tools to the editor, added a hell of a load of new sprites, added 8 player MP & made the graphics better.
I see it as a shame that they didn't feel a re-write was needed as they did from the superb HD to the Brilliant Evo ..... for the average player .... Fusion & Rising = Evo with more sprites, thats it :/
Fusion & Rising have both been downgrades ... which doesn't happen a lot in the gaming world but some how Ubi & RL have done it twice .... I say this with a heavy heart as a lover of this game format ... but I feel the game has gone already![]()
