    Stance change attack to 100ms - DERP

    (}All heroes now can launch attacks 100ms after starting a Stance Change (instead of 300ms for non-reflex guard heroes)

    Developer comments: The intention of this change is to allow all Non-Reflex Guard Heroes to have quicker access to their opening Light and Heavy Attacks in all 3 stances. Heroes have already been able to perform a stance change and able to block at 100ms – but previously, non-Reflex Guard Heroes who wanted to launch an attack from a different stance had to spend a total of 300ms changing stance before the Attack would start. Now, all Heroes can switch stance and be able to attack immediately at 100ms. For reference, Reflex Guard Heroes already worked this way – now we allow the entire roster to be able to switch stance and attack at the same timings.)

    Correct me if I am wrong but this is ridiculous....

    Do you guys honestly have something against the assassin class ?!

    You are literally removing the only disadvantage of playing a non reflex guard hero ? Why ? It makes sense we can change guard and attack quicker BECAUSE WE ARE REFLEX GUARD and blocking etc is much more difficult and we all have (__) HP !!

    ALL I see in these patch notes is Heavy hero's getting quicker, doing more damage, having more chains, ohh yeah removing stuff that should of been patch fixed to be uninterruptible years ago... stampede change etc etc

    New map not even for Dom or Breach : / .... BUNK.

    Yep, agreed. While the change was definitely a welcomed one, it shifts the balance towards solid guard heroes way too much. This definitely doesn't sit right with me, assassins seem to hold zero leverage to warrant dealing with reflex guard, yet Stefan was adamant that they will keep it.

    I'll have to play a bit after the patch to give my full thoughts.

    They need to overhaul the reflex guard and make it so if you're holding the direction your block never goes away, but when you release it, it deteriorates over time like normal.

    Deflects should get a buff across the board for all assassins to compensate.

    I can't wait to try out the crushing counters for HL with this change though, I assume it should make them much easier to land.

    Yeah agreed I suppose complaining about it before trailing it is bad on me but I just don't see how it's going to be anything but bad : /
    Just another step to more generic characters with different names IMO which is a shame : /

    Assassins get such a rough deal atm, lower health, lower top end damage, less damage reduction (equals less revenge) we should be GLASS CANNONSSSS RAAWRR
