That's why I always get the torch perk instead of lock picking because it's handy for repairing vehicles.

The funny thing is though, once when I drove it all the way to Prosperity, it was leaking when I got out, no doubt from a bullet fired at it. I whipped out the torch to start a repair, mind you from the back of the truck, not near the leak.

The damn thing blew up in my face though. I'm pretty sure it was from the torch, not the leak. So be forewarned, if you don't see the "Repair" prompt, don't try repairing an Ethanol truck. And definitely don't hold the torch anywhere near an Ethanol truck leak either. These trucks CAN be repaired though, done it many times after being attacked hijacking them to avert disaster.

Actually I've done it from the back before on an Ethanol truck while out on the road in between waves of attackers, while hijacking one back to home base. I like to be on the end the attackers are coming from to take them out as quickly as possible. As long as I have a Repair prompt it works, but ever since that one blew up at home base, I usually aim the torch at that blue plate on the back, and never at the tank itself. Honestly I really think it was the lack of the Repair prompt though. Apparently the truck didn't register as damaged despite the small leak. The torch sure damaged it though. LOL

Got it off to a fine art. I capture near every ethanol truck I come across, and yeah, it's pretty exciting getting it home in one piece.

If you're having trouble getting the ethanol at an outpost (like I was) jump back into the truck and manouevre it around a little. Job done.

I know at The Chop Shop I kept get'n riped off. I was pulling the truck all the way into the complex. I didn't notice the first couple of times the message saying something akin to, Jump out of vehicle, that had been popping up at the top of the screen as soon as to pull up out front of the complex. Somehow by pulling all the way into the complex I was driving back out of the mission-complete trigger point? So da, now bailing out along the front of the complex entrance it triggers every time. All that time and the game had been trying ta tell me the whole all along. Holmes got nut'n on me. I 'member something similar to this happen'n at the Watering Hole complex also. When approaching a complex, keep an eye out that "get out" message. haha...

    Hello,
First you'll want to liberate an Outpost, then stand on a street near that Outpost until an Ethanol Tanker Truck drives by. Shoot the driver, steal the truck and drive it to the Outpost. The spawns are random but they should spawn within a few minutes.
    Regards,
