    Physical Player getting new DLC?

    Greetings,
I play Starlink with the physical ships and pilots. How am I supposed to play the new DLC Expansion (Crimson)? If I am now expected to play digital, is there anything Ubisoft is going to do for those of us with a massive physical collection?

For instance, can you please remove the 1 week timeout on physical components imported? So any physical component imported will just be unlocked digitally forever - that to me is an accipable solution since we can no longer purchase physical components of the new conent.

    Thank you

Hey! From what I’ve read it’s still going to support the physical toys and such. The new dlc is just more content that extends the game with new missions but it will still play the same way physical or digital!

There are new digital only pilots and new digital only ships. Its impossible to play a digital only ship with the physical and its impossible to put a digital only pilot in a physical ship.

So no, it will not play the same. If a physical only player wants to purchase the DLC pilots and ships, the ONLY way to play them is digital. That means the physical player will need to constatly scan in all of their stuff every week in order to play with the new digital.

This is unacceptable and I think Ubisoft needs to do something for the physical players. For instance, digitally unlocking the physical components once scanned forever. Basically, removing the 1 week timeout of physically scanned gear.

I agree mate, the few of us who own physical toys are being forced to buy the game again but this time digital route just to play one single game. I made a post on how physical toy fans could continue to have the physical version without being a shelf warmer to retailers.as brought up here https://forums.ubi.com/showthread.ph...ng-huge-issues. I think Ubisoft should still to a degree keep up with the physical market to allow those of us who have the physical toys to continue to play the game. Granted I haven't touched Starlink in over a few months due to hearing the depressing news that the physical toys will be discontinued to a degree. I just hope Ubisoft gets a hint and pleases both groups in some way since they are currently alienating the physical toy users to a massive degree, the game has potential to be a great breath of new life to the toys to life genre in general.

I agree on the 7 day digital link for the physical toys, I get annoyed considering I have most of the collection 2 content since it’s all digital. If they just came out with a physical release for them even if it was just the starship packs, we wouldn’t have to worry as much about going back and forth between playing physically and digitally. Personally I prefer the physical toys because it’s more fun in my opinion so I was pretty disappointed when I found out about collection 2 being digital only

I am shocked , totally shocked. this is pure greed and nothing ells.
The worth of the game is £14.00 max , the worth of the dlc is £4.00 max
The price of these are over 400% too high and I am appalled at this outright extorsion .
I may never buy a game from this company again. I sure am not buying the dlc for this
And I regret paying the £24.00 for the deluxe at 50% off.

    OOPS!
I must have pushed a back-arrow or something. This was posted on the wrong thread..
