Hermes Kenny and choirboy butters
I've faced allot of derankers and noticed something weird. If I face a level 20 or 21 new kid, and he just let's me kill him, I'll send Hermes Kenny straight up the middle and take a bar from him. No problem doing that since the new kid zap doesn't kill him but almost does. When I do it with choirboy butters, who at a max level 4 is exactly the same as Hermes Kenny, the new kid zaps him dead before he takes a bar. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ . I have a feeling you might say "Well, their attack speed is different and Hermes is faster". It can't be because I've had my Hermes go against opponent's choirboy, or vice versa, and it's a toss up who hits who first. Just curious why butters dies from the zap but Kenny doesn't. Is it a bug?

Your first suspicion is correct, Hermes attacks faster. But that doesn't always mean he will win the 1-1 matchup. Remember the old days when assassins were king? There was a fine art to dropping your assassin in the perfect position to get the first strike, even if the other one was faster. You could drop sally and take out ike 1-1 if you did it right, every single time.
