Greetings! The Division forums are now archived and accessible in read-only mode, please go to the new platform to discuss the game

2 states of the game, no skill power mentions (for actual skill power users)

It's getting a bit ridiculous at this point. Last state of the game there was no mention at all about skill power, and in this one the only skill power mentions were for NON skill power users.

Low SP mods- QoL for firearms builds

"AUX batteries" - QoL for firearms builds, again.

The last one actually hurts people interested in using skill power builds, and the reason is because mod inventory is pretty limited already. Since mods don't scale with SP, as it should always have been, we're forced to keep different versions of the same mod. Even though my build has 2.5k SP now, it may get lower in the future and it may get higher. I don't know, so I have to keep any mod above 2k. Think I'm hoarding or keeping unnecessary ones? I went and logged every mod I have in an excel spreadsheet to try and figure out which to keep (example: https://i.imgur.com/SCrD399.png ).

Adding these batteries on top means I now have to keep, yet another countless mods because I do also have builds setup for firearms (since SP builds are kinda lackluster).

I think people have posted enough feedback threads and constructive criticism but it just shows the incapability or simply not wanting to go through the trouble of fixing this mess of a system unfortunately. And the lack of threads here on the forum after this state of the game kind of just shows that people like me who are primarily interested in SP builds have moved on too. Also no sets improvements, especially hard wired

I guess they can't find a balance between relevant and one shot seeker build...

There was nothing wrong with skills in pve in TD1, they were powerful and so they should be for everything that you had to give up. I personally dont think they were a problem in pvp either, if any of us failed to roll out from a seeker, and burst the player down whilst they were on cool down, then that was the dps players fault. Regardless, when they added the pvp multiplier they became useless in pvp, but still powerful in pve, it really isn't hard to balance that.

I really like the idea of the batteries, but, as you said, it will do nothing for the skill builds.

    Skills

It's actually starting to get a bit old on the lack of communication about skill builds. Even if they share some of their ideas, that would help. But two straight SoTG and nothing. Also two of the biggest problems as a skill build player are how they have never addressed the +mine mods actually not giving extra mines. Also how seekers are so inferior in movement compared to D1.

    They're "looking into it". ™
Isn't that what they initially said 3-4 weeks ago?
They aren't addressing it because they're hoping we will stop talking about it.

Once the player base drops they'll try to bring the blayers back by making skill builds viable. Will it be too late by then? This is really just a division 1.5 with all fck ups from TD1 included as free DLC.

Yeah, you could clear a heroic mission solo with just a freaking turret. Nothing wrong with that.

It's dropped already, we were/are? 40 people in my clan and everybody is on discord and not a single one is playing Division 2 from what I can see on discord "Playing X game". I haven't even logged in for over a week.

Yeah I think people are noticing the fact that feedback here on the forums are for naught.

guys, i have been whinging in the forum about this for sooooo long, and got massive **** on also by other users, of course now everybody is at end game and realize how bad the skill power builds are in general, i dont want to repeat myself due to having posted a lot of threads about this and to be honest i have already moved on to something else more appealing.

But my rear still burns about all the moneys i have spent on a game that i have played for about 3 weeks, year pass wasted, friends copies wasted, etc etc.

Make some more noise if u want stuff to be changed in a reasonable time, do like the youtubers and streamers did when they wanted the skill power nerfed in div1, clearly Terry was one of them, as he made decisions about the game that are unbearable and pretty clear opposed to skill power.

Oh, btw, nice state of the game were terry and the other dev guy(cant tell the name atm) were just laughing at each other while talking about some massive game changing nerfs and continuosly asking the other person to reassure him that what he was talking about was correct. dont u read the changed YOU make about the game yourself? it just left me and my crew completely on a loss of words for the terrible attitude they brought.

In the end, i want to leave u guys with a picture of the person in charge of the balance of this game so u can remember who was responsible for this travesty.

    farewell.
