    Massive please listen.

    We all know you frequent these forums but yet it seems to fall on deaf ears. Long time D1 players and loving D2 from the get go BUT since last patch everyone is saturating these forums with the difficulty being too easy. PLEASE RETURN IT TO HOW IT WAS IN THE START OF THE GAME! AS OF NOW THE GAME IS GETTING BORING!

    There you heard it from one of the many Die hard fans of the series. The game is stale because it SO GOD DAMN EASY. I can have a 3 course meal and clear challenge and heroics I can breeze through. You guys are either dumb or blind to not listen to your faithful gamers

    I'm finding it fine. Maybe lot's of people are finding it fine. That would be why we are not seeing any 'this game is to hard to play solo' posts.

    Not so sure he is wrong, as I posted in another thread, it feels like they are just applying general nerfs/buffs so that when someone complains that normal/hard dificulty is too hard, they hit the entire thing, peeing off the players on the harder levels. Just a thought on my part, kind of like balancing for PVP balancing that ends up screwing up PVE.

    i think its the scaling, challenging with 1 or 2 agents is just too easy right now but if you have 3 or 4 then it seems to be closer to what it should be.

    They said this would be in two parts, one part is to lower damage from NPCs, the other part is to adjust talents and skills levels which is now being tested. When the second part comes out it should be more balanced. But like someone else said, I play solo and it's been a dream so far.

    I would like to see better and challenging AI group tactics instead just blindly increased mob hp and damage.
    This will be boring soon as well.

    Yeah, i always hear that argument, but eventually its the same ****. Its just an ai. As long as we dont get those self learning ai`s, who have beaten pro gamers in Dota 2 and Starcraft 2, there wont ever be an actual challenge, unless you make them outright unfair and let them cheat.

    The shoe hasn't fully dropped with the changes. I'm now able to do hard missions whereas before I couldn't. I agree that those "too hard complaint" threads are gone so some good has come from it. Wait for the rest of the changes.

    Wait, did people actually think the game is hard? I played since release, did everything up to WT4 alone and only died a couple times. But, i died because i didnt pay enough attention to my gear, since its worthless until the endgame, usually. But everytime i got the highest amount of gear for my level/gear score, the enemys got significantly easier, like it should be. Honestly, i dont even see much of a difference in difficulty from release up to now. The only thing that changed was the bulldozer tactic of the enemy and that they sometime randomly just ran straight by me to get to a coverposition 20m behind me, which is weird.

    I use to be in the 'it's to hard to solo' group. I don't think it was my tactics that were letting me down so much as being one-shot, and having enemy's spawn on my head. When I play now I find the challenge just right, not to easy, but if I'm carful I can solo missions.
    I know this is upsetting those who love a hard challenge, but it's down to the dev's to find a way to make us all happy, rather than us, bashing each other up over it.
