Agreed. People who are against this suggestion must be new. They gave us PVE Darkzone in division one under the Survival expansion and it was far more fun and and exciting than anything they gave for PVP.

I play about 99% of my time in PvE, but I don't really understand this request. The dark zones make up maybe 25% of the overall map and the rest is strictly PvE. My suggestion is to just wrap your head around the dark zone being a PvP area and either take your chances accordingly or just don't go there. The DZ without PvP is just not that dark, so maybe revise your request to just add more area to the open world map or maybe a DLC like Survival.

why not think about like a random group nps that spawn and try to kill you?
It's part of the game and why it is so different for so many to fight against other player instead of nps?
Biggest reason is that the NPS don't steal the stuff I collected after they kill me.
And another simple reason is it's rather time consuming and annoying to have to prepare two builds; one for PvE and one for PvP...
(I'm sure it's possible to have a PvE & PvP compatible build, but it's usually better to prepare a build that's good for that purpose)

because ppl know 90% of all PVP enthousiast are ****ing *******s. they only kill for sports. they just hunt other player. they don't care about the loot.
the DZ should be a place to get awesome loot where yoou can kill other for the loot. but these *******s don't care for the loot.
they just want to kill other and dance over their bodies cause they probably get bullied in real life or don't have any social status. so the bully other online where their faces are not known or remembert.
it is just a sewer full of **** of these *******s.

i don't go in DZ for this reason. i am a solo player that just wants to enjoy the game. but alas, an exotic is only available in the DZ. same with some other stuff.

When people say go play Light zone if you don't like to play against humans you are missing the point.
The mechanics of landmarks and extraction doesn't exist in the rest of the game.

That is one thing people enjoy.

Currently in support of InigomontoyaTV's idea of just turning one of the normalized DZ's be turned into a "Safe Space Zone" where there is no PvP but the drops are reduced heavily. This would allow more people to explore each dark zone and get to explore the content they claim to want in a PVE dark zone. This would also flood the other dark zones to satisfy PvP players. Seems like a win win.

So you get killed often by NPC's right? Stay away from providing suggestions to the game. Only player who can provide suggestions is the player who doesn't die to NPCs.

And if you find it annoying to make 2 builds in a game where everyone runs 5+ different builds and the game is actually about making builds maybe you should leave the game altogether.

    Bye.

Due to the reduced risk via removing pvp the reward should be reduced.

Because you scrubs don't deserve 200+ drops per hour without any effort.
DZ doesn't scale to player's count, making it too easy to farm in anything above 2 players. Also without the option to go rogue, extraction loses purpose. Completely.
To put it simply, DZ without the rogues isn't DZ. But we've been through this million times. And plenty of people still don't understand.
