Just out of curiosity, what's your favorite sniper rifle (the one you use the most)?
And why is it your favorite?

i did used to use the Desert Tech HTI but now i have been upgrading my M82 BFG and my L96 and using them a lot more now. whats yours?

I love the L96, the M40 is cool too, I guess I have a thing for bolt action rifles. I like using the M14, I would love to see a lot of other modifications for it

M40: it's bullet velocity, bullet drop, and sound are superb. I like that it's not overpowered, the mils for the g28scope are nearly perfect for every 100m until 600m.

M14: I own a mini M14 and a M1A, so I'm inclined to it in basically every shooter I played since SOCOM. I use it as a battle rifle as opposed to a sniper rifle especially when those type of Daily Challenges occur.

SR-1. I prefer .338s over the .50cals. Idk something is off when running around with a 50 cal on your back or at ready to me. But at the same time, if the .50cals were deployable, lots of QQ would happen. The game is about choice anyways.

At first my favorite was the MSR. Later I started using the PSG-1 then later the BFG 50. At one point I used the Mk17 as a DMR but it wasn't very effective at long ranges so I switched to the normal SR-25 which I still use.

I used to love the MSR but it has a bug that hasn't been fixed so I had to let it go. The bug is too annoying imo.
Nowadays I switch between the SR25 (due to it's accuracy, 20 mag and the fast reload) and the BFG-50A.
I really wanted to like the M110, but that bullet drop is a disappointment so it's a no go for me.

BFG which is almost the same as HTI(except rof) as anti vehicle
and sr25-g28-black widos - as fast shooting one

TBH, I didn't use anything except the HK416 after it was released until the SCAR-L and MK18 were added and thus now jump between the three almost exclusively, with a never intentionally used MPX hanging on my backpack filling the secondary weapon slot.

But prior to that, the SR-25 Liberator was my go-to sniper rifle.

Remington quality control, considering SOCOM released a solicitation for a replacement in the Advanced Sniper Rifle not long after the MSR won the PSR contract. lol

While I know it is chic to hate on the big green, that didn't answer my question of what the in game bug is.

Also the reason SOCOM was looking for a replacement has far more to do with improved precision rifle tech than it does the performance of the MSR. The M110 by KAC didn't last long before it was replaced by the M110A1(aka G28). Specifically the MSR is .7MOA at 1000m while the Barret MRAD is .5MOA at 1500m with Lapua .338.
