Division 2 is now available from several vendors for a discount of 37% down to 37 euros. Is this an indication of future tidings?

Ya the game is not selling as well as they claim. In fact I really haven't seen the number of players in this game I did in D1. I think the sales numbers have been seriously over stated hoping to generate more sales. And the direction the game is going it will be a bigger flop the D1. This would have been a great game if massive wasn't so bent on making the PvP DZ it's poster child.

Why buy them unless they are discounted then? I payed 40 bucks for it, so don't feel too bad. Why wouldn't you wait until this inevitable and quick discount occurs?

The same reason anyone buys into anything early - because you got to play and enjoy the game for the last 4-5 weeks, and someone buying it now did not. Same reason people buy any game or technology early - because you got it now, not later.

It's like a brand new shiny car from the dealership.

I paid £30,000 for it, as soon as I drove it off the forecourt, it's lost 20% of its value.
