Co-op track possible?
would a co-op track be possible? example.. 2 riders come to a fork.. 1 person has to go upper route... other has to go lower. Player 1 comes to an obstruction, cannot continue. Player 2 has to hit a button t6o blow up obstruction for player 1.
Something along these lines, like a maze or puzzle. I don't play a lot of custom tracks, I'm thinking this is maybe possible.

Thought about it with a friend and we really would love to see something like that. Maybe a mode with two-lane tracks like the duel ones, but built specifically for coop. Where things happen on one lane affect the other etc. Tandem is a fun coop mode, but i would love to see the coop idea expand a bit more. And being available online, since it's very rare that i can play tandem with a friend. Gathering in homes to play games is not our thing anymore. :P

A co-op track is possible, but only in local mp. The game doesn't synchronize physics and scripting state across the network, so you can't interact with what the other player is doing in online mp.
I made a video of a proof of concept. It's a headache to work on, though. There seems to be a lot more editor bugs when working on supercross tracks than I normally run in to.

awesome.. thanks for the video.
Got to ask, Can the physics and scripting across the net get implemented into the game? Think about it, co-op play opens up a who new reason to play. People making the tracks have a new track style to make.I Think a lot of people would enjoy it actually.

I wouldn't expect it. Networked physics games are a lot of work to get right and Trials' normal multiplayer doesn't need to sync the physics, so it would be a lot of extra complication for something that would only be used by a few tracks.
