2. Absolutely. I have probably 1k hours since I got all 14 classified gear sets all fully optimized. If a game is not fun and is just a grind, then no. However, in TD1, the gear is just a means to keep increasing the difficulty levels and self-imposed challenges. Plus, GE's are fun as can be. Many of my friends only play during GE's anymore.
Once you get to 256 which you can do easily, you can complete whatever mission on the legendary difficulty. i could have stoped a long ago if i was only about missions.
the thing is... counting on RNG to get a single piece isnt easy or hard, it´s like throwing a coin, and you get heads or tails, but you didnt use any expertise to get any of the results if it´s just a random draw.
you cant measure how hard a game is just by having luck on random generated numbers. the concept of easy or hard relates to how difficult it is to complete an activity, and in the case of the division we are completing the same activities for months and the damn rng just kills all the fun.
So i can beat whatever mission you put on the table, which means im completely successful on my gameplays, even on the hardest difficulties, so why im not getting what I want, if im doing it very good? It doesnt matter if its a random draw.
im not advocating to take out RNG because it´s the core of the game, but they could be much more generous, so we could have our builds and try some pvp with some chance to win, instead of always losing to people who have something you´re grinding for weeks doing the same mission without good results.
i have a d3 maxed out, and i can do any mission, but i cant do much on dark zone the way I wanted.
if you´re new to this game, you´ll understand me very soon.
