Dear Ubisoft,
I want my money back. I know that putting out a game like this is a big deal, but this game was not close to ready when it shipped. I can't help but feel like I've been scammed when my money is spent, and I get a non-working product in return.
There is no excuse for putting out software that doesn't run at all most of the time. If by chance I do get past the loading screen, I crash within 5 minutes of playing. After your latest update, I started getting random bluescreen crashes when I launch or repair your files using your tools.
Honestly, I've just lost interest in playing this game. Even if you were to solve the crashing issue today, We would still be dealing with the T-pose dead enemies or missing textures, or frame drops.
Who do I need to contact to request a refund? Asking for myself and all of my stream audience.
Thanks
Rhae
The thing is, didn't it mostly work on release? I really didn't have any issues until this most recent patch. I've seen some people note each patch has made stability/performance worse, but I don't recall a major outcry on release regarding crashing and stability. Maybe I just wasn't paying attention? Anyway, hope it starts working for you soon, because they're not going to refund.
I'm quite certain that there was some sort of "No refund" clause. This letter was more hyperbole than anything else. All together this game and it's first month have been a sh*t show and I, my friends, my audience and most of y'all are probably fed up.
Honestly, the failures of this game release have left such a bad taste in my mouth, I'd be hard pressed to ever recommend, review or stream another Ubisoft/Massive game. It's been way too frustrating with the constant bugs that take too long to fix, the scaling of enemies and the out of balance stats.
I'm sure at some point they'll get this game worked out but that should have happened before release. I expect a $100 game to be finished and polished or at least reasonably so. This game felt like it launched a few months before it was ready for release. The bugs, errors and crashes are what you expect in alpha and early beta, not 6 weeks post release.
Similarly, I also think that the possibility of a refund is almost zero.
I also encountered a serious lag problem after the update on April 14. Whether it's sound or game content, or even loading a game, lag never stops. Causes me to barely walk.
I hope to solve the problem as soon as possible. I believe that providing quality products and services is what we deserve.

Probably not what you want to hear but they're under no obligation to refund you. If they do it'd be under their own discretion and on a case by case basis.

From a personal perspective, the game's current state in terms of performance has improved no end, no more crashes, no fps drops. The only issue I'm having along with most people is the long loading times, apart from that I've got no complaints. I've had my fair share of issues along the way but have cured them with minimal effort.
To make statements that generalise the game's current state, doesn't mean it's affecting everyone and you shouldn't think that either.
"Releasing a broken game...putting out software that doesn't run"
The games current state and performance relies solely on your system's variants as you'll see from the diverse threads being created and resolved in some cases by a simple fix.
I'm sorry its fine for you good luck to you. Alot of us cant play. If this game was properly tested this wouldn't be happening. There are no simple fixes or workarounds it requires major fixing. Just another example of give us the money and see you later sucks to be you if it don't work. You think I'm not going to complain ?? YES I DAMN WELL AM!!!!
I should be able to demand a refund given situations like this!! I'm not going to roll over and give up and yes you can go troll another post please. In fact if the game works fine go play it and don't come here.
I'll pm you StiricK_075_AuX when the ACCC get back to me and we can go from there go m8Originally Posted by StiricK_075_AuX Go to original post
As for those that have no issues, why are you spending your time in the tech section when you could be gaming![]()
yeah, game was the best it ever was upon release... minus one or two game breaking bugs, but it only got worse with each patch.Originally Posted by DoctorMcBatman Go to original post
