    Paging File?

I have been trying to solve my stuttering issues in this game for a couple weeks now. I have tried just about everything possible besides buying new hardware. Yesterday I decided to try messing with paging file size. These were the results.

    My system specs are Dell G3 Gaming Laptop with a Intel I5 8300h, 8GB DDR4 2666mhz ram, GTX 1060 6GB MAXq graphics and a 1TB SSHD firecuda.

While playing an average session in the Division 2 according to MSIAfterburner/RivaTuner statistics my system is on average using 6.5GB-6.8GB of total ram, around 4GB out of 6GB of total VRam.

First thing I tried was a suggestion of Disabling the paging file completely. After loading the game to character screen, once hitting continue it begins loading the game and eventually goes black and silently crashes to desktop.

When setting the paging file between 1gbmin - 5gbmax, the game loads as it should. I can play for about 10minutes without any issues, no stuttering at all with almost perfect 60fps on preset high settings.. After about 10minutes however it goes black and silently crashes to desktop.

When setting the paging file to 10GB or more(or even system managed for that matter), the game loads just fine and plays perfect for about 10-20minutes, in witch case it begins to Freeze for 1-4second pauses and resume like normal every 30seconds to 2minutes and will not stop until reloading the game.

As described above when all of these scenarios occur I have at least 1-1.5gb of free Physical ram and 2gb of free vram.

I am no expert on windows memory management, so what exactly is going on here I am not 100% sure myself, just posting what I have observed and if somebody could possibly post any solution or explaination of the issue here.

Edit: Also after every session I checked the current paging file size and its only about 2gb-3gb.

    try this:

with windows 10 and 8gb ram you should let windows manage your paging file.
Are you playing over wifi or ethernet cable?
Switching to cable was what fixed my problems.

I hate to say this, but 8GB of RAM nowadays is probably just not enough. Something like Chrome will eat up 2-4GB of memory if you leave it open. I have 32GB in my system and while running TD2 (and whatever else I'm running) I sit at about 16-20GB of RAM being used. This is what Windows shows currently for me, for example: https://imgur.com/c1kYDHh
