Just looking for some confirmation with some added thoughts/opinions.
    1) Is the 515 gear dropping in normalization or just ODZ?
    2) Are they going to make some changes to address the overall rogue system and how to give players more of a chance at revenge? Lately the only pvp action I see in the normalized DZ is teams ganking solos or smaller teams when at landmarks and seeing that they have gear. Occasionally see this too around extracts, but not as often. The issue is that after the initial gank it is very hard to find those rogues. Nothing on the map, no proximity info, nothing. I'm level 50 with the perk to see them better and we get nothing. My concern is you have a quick trigger system to go rogue, short TTK with the normalization/broken pvp builds, and no way to track/get revenge. I enjoyed D1 DZ because it had pvp and mixed pve, but the main thing that was good was being able to react to a gank. You had quick medkits, initial damage dampener, and good armor/damage reduction for longer TTK. This gave me an option to react and have a true battle. Sure, the ganker has the initial advantage, but a player could turn the fight around with skill because that had a chance. Current framework for the normalized DZ right now seems like it is rewarding gankers and allowing them to easily kill a person, grab their loot, and run off a simple timer to rinse and repeat with nobody finding them. My opinion, but that isnt the DZ. That is crap.

"Content A is locked behind Activity B and I don't want to do Activity B, waaa waaa".

@Salty-Paul - I have a question: What is your defintion of a game? Shouldn't it be to have fun?

When i just have to do something for short time i don't want to do i'm eating the sour apple to unlock something i want to do after. But for people that avoid the Darkzone or even hate the Darkzone there would be no other option to keep up getting the newest things, so they're forced to play something that they don't want for longer time. And that is not fun in my definition. (can just speak for myself but i guess there are a lot of people out there that share this)

Well...or quit the game, but that shouldn't be the interest of the publisher neither the player

You seriously gotta be 12 to write crap like this lol

You guys are that mad about that DZ thing that you're ready to look like complete fools for the sake of entitlement?

You know people have no arguments when they start bringing grammar mistakes, social status and any other unrelated crap into a discussion.
The troller gets trolled. That’s pretty funny..
But, to address another one of your points a few pages back: you said that there’s virtually no difference between the 500 and 515 GS items... If that were the case why would they even bother? How would that incentivise people to go into the DZ?
Another one of your posts you mocked someone for suggesting that the raid might be on a timer, saying he was just inventing reasons to whine, in fact Hamish said, on an SOTG episode about server maintenance, that people would know on maintenance days that content had reset. I don’t remember off the top of my head whether he actually stated that the raid would definitely be on a weekly reset, but it’s a fairly safe bet that it will. Otherwise people would only play raids, and then the rest of the game would be in the same state that DZ is in at the moment. Putting drops in the DZ only (even if only for a short period) makes the missions etc redundant.
If you lock the highest level gear behind the raid and the DZ that makes missions, and the weekly invaded missions, redundant. It will be a case of one run through the raid (if indeed it does turn out to be on a timer), and then DZ for the rest of the week. Just as well remove any other content from WT5.
Not to mention that most people’s complaints aren’t necessarily about the fact that they said they were going to put those drops exclusively in the DZ, even if they may have backtracked on this now, but the fact that they said they were going to after promising everyone that they would not be locking drops behind content.

Plouf being a console peasant makes so much sense. And him not knowing what the idiom means is just so beautiful. I'm loling.

Lol coming from the guy who has been running around the forums calling anyone who has an opinion opposite his own an “entitled potato” nice to see you are still helping the cause in your own way. What’s worse is you are still using entitled/entitlement incorrectly.

PVP and PVE sets must be diffrent.Want to PVP then PVP zones and mobs must give PVP sets .Want to PVE then PVE zones and mobs must give PVE sets. Why do I have to play PVP to get a PVE set if I am not interested in any PVP ?
Besides same set rules being used in both PVP and PVE is ending up nerfs couse of PVP that is effecting PVE... plain stupid ...

It's because Devs honestly think PvPvE is a kind of holy grail of game design, and if they crack it they'll have a crazy successful game. It's so self absorbed and naive though, and shows they don't play enough games, and project their own marginal desires onto the playerbase as a whole.

PvE players don't want to PvP, in any shape or form. The Devs don't understand this simple thing, because they themselves like it and can't understand people not liking it. They think if only they create the correct, palatable form of PvP everyone will wake up, change their minds, and realise how great it is. They really don't get that most people don't like it, and never will.

It's simple hubris, mixed in with just enough stubborn ignorance to perpetuate itself.

If I’m not mistaken it’s just in the ODZ and the only change to rogues stayed recently is the reset timer.

Your best bet is to run with a pulse. There’s a talent on gear called spotter, if you get that you do 10% extra damage to pulsed targets.

But it isn’t a new thing, World of Warcraft has been doing it for 15 years, but they also gave players the option not to have to play like that. The big difference here is that you really don’t know who is going to attack you, the same person who just helped you clear a landmark can turn on you and steal your loot. There are a lot of people who like to play like that, and to be honest, giving griefers a place to hang out is probably a good idea, but the rest of us don’t want to have to go in there.

PvPvE is by definition forced. Opt in PvP is a different animal. And I agree with you. It's just the Devs making the DZ and driving the design don't understand or agree.
